found this quote interesting:

Besides losing a payday, leaving home means this harsh reality for the SEC: It's pretty mediocre on the road. Since 1998, the SEC is 40-39 in nonconference road games. That mark drops to 24-31 at schools from BCS conferences.

The Pac-10, which SEC fans conveniently shoo aside, is now 10-6 this decade against the SEC. Whereas the SEC is 1-6 at Pac-10 schools, the Pac-10 has gone 4-5 at SEC stadiums.

what does it all mean.......what i've always thought and said... betting against sec teams on the road vs other bcs teams is a money maker

That's the whole key to the great SEC myth. Play all your games at home, and rely on your tough, tough in-conference schedule. Is is the best league this year? Yeah, probably. Was it last year? Yeah, probably. The problem is that all of the Scott4SEC wannabe SEC flag-wavers want us to think the conference is like a Jr. NFL, and no one else is even close.

I'm just surprised you actually found 7 games where an SEC team (outside of the Vols) was actually willing to go out west.

I can;t speak for other SEC school but I do know for a fact that LSU traveled to Arizona twice in the past 5 years and won both games, a nail biter vs ASU and absolutely woodsheded the Mild cats, in 2003

I feel SEC is the top football conference, and has been for at least 6 consecutive seasons. Of course, I am aware the disparity is not as great as some make it. To further illustrae your point, if you take away LSU's 4-0 record vs the PAC 10, then the SEC stands in at a lowly 2-10 vs PAC 10 this decade:scared
