Mack Brown has been given an ultimatum : can the staff and win the conference next year or goodbye. Supposedly he is so upset with this he is considering resigning. Spurrier has been contacted and says he is VERY interested but only if he gets to sit out a year first.

reprtedly both coordinators have been fired as well as 2-3 assistants. Greg Davis, off. coord, has been with Brown for 15+yrs so Brown is ticked. rumor is Jerry Gray is new def coord and Chris Peterson from Boise St is new off coord

Would Spurrier schedule an OOC game outside of Texas? He only played 1 OOC game outside of FL, and annually played cupcake teams. No respect for that man. I also liked how he quit on the Redskins, why would you want to play for him?
I think he will schedule Hawaii and BYU.
All kidding aside, UT schedule is pretty well set for next 6 years or so. Home and Home with Ohio State, LSU, Utah are in there as well as some of the usual patsies (Rice, N Texas).
