Lets use this thread to discuss the adjustments we have to make handicapping interleague play.

Obviously the American League teams travelling to National League parks are at a disadvantage immediately having their pitchers hit and losing their DH. You would assume National League teams would have an advantage if the game is of the "small ball" variety.

What else stands out? Any teams you are looking to play "on" or "against"??

GOOD IDEA
I will be looking at the American`s hot teams to continue scoring runs. Also teams that are in slumps and vice, visa. What pitchers and batters do from past interleague play. Past records of all teams, they usually hold true. This and more of the usual stuff, plus players that have been traded. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR PLAYS BUT USE GOOD MONEY MANAGEMENT AND BE CAREFUL IT`S A LONG SEASON.

REDSOX RECORD IN INTERLEAGUE PLAY HAS BEEN TERRIBLE....THIER PITCHING IS IN THE BOTTOM OF THE LEAGUE...IT HAS BEEN THIER OFFENSE THAT HAS KEPT THEM AFLOAT....BUT WITH HILLENBRAND GONE AND NOW THE DH GONE THIER PITCHING HAS TOO COME THROUGH WITH SOME QUALITY INNINGS ....IF THEY DONT LOOK FOR THIS TEAM TO CONTINUE TO STRUGGLE ...WHAT WORRIES ME A LITTLE IS THE FIRST SERIES WITH PITT...THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE THIS TEAM ..BECAUSE PITT IS A MONEY BURNER AT HOME AND MONEY MAKER ON THE ROAD...BUT I WOULDNT BE SURPRISED TO SEE PITT TAKE A ONE OR TWO...I WONT BET AGAINST KIM ON TUESDAY ..HE SHOULD BE COMFORTABLE WITH THE NATIONAL LEAGUE...BUT PITT WILL BE A DOF IN EVERY GAME MOST LIKELY AND MAYBE AT SOME GOOD DOG PRICES...

THEY ALSO HAVE THE BREWERS OVER THE WEEKEND WITH PEDRO SO DOESNT LOOK LIKE A NICE SPOT TO PLAY AGAINST THEM HEAR EITHER...BUT WHEN THEY PLAY HOUSTON I THINK THEY RUN INTO TROUBLE....

ALL IN ALL I THINK THIS IS AN EASIER DIVISION FOR THE SOX THAN THE NL EAST...SO DONT BET BLINDLY AGAINST THEM JUST BECAUSE OF THIER HISTORY AGAINST THE NL IN INTERLEAGUE PLAY...BUT I THINK IF YOU PICK YOUR SPOTS HERE AGAINST THEM YOU WOULD DO WELL...

ITS GOING TO BE INTERSETING TO SEE THE ADJUSTMENT ON THE TOTALS THE BOOK MAKES WITH BOSTON PLAYING NATIONAL LEAGUE RULES....AGAIN THIER STARTING PITCHING AS WELL AS BULLPEN IS TERRIBLE....

STAY AWAY FROM PLAYING AGAINST PEDRO UNLESS THE PRICE IS RIDICULOUS AND HE IS UP AGAINST A DECENT PITCHER ..AND WAIT TO SEE WHAT KIM DOES BEFORE GOING AGAINST HIM..

OTHER THAN THAT LOWE/BURKETT/WAKFIELD HAVE ALL STRUGGLED ON THE ROAD...AND WILL MOST LIKELY BE FAVORITES OR VERY SMALL DOGS UNLESS THEY ARE GOING AGAINST AN ACE

Seattle vs Atlanta

Seattle vs Atlanta

How about Atlanta vs Seattle. That oughta be an awesome one to watch. Both bats HOT both have pitching. I think we will see Great matchups during those three games. Will Glavine draw Meche, Maddux has sucked it up this year, but I'd love to see that matchup.

Clemons vs Wood should be intresting matchup. I havn't even seen the line and I think that the UNDER is the play their. I think we will get a TRUE matchip their. Hopefully wind Blows in that day. If it does I'm on UNDER...Anyother matchups someone want to see?
