Good luck today, cooz. The Zona play is really pro-Patterson rather than anti-Anderson for me. I watched the last game Patterson pitched and he looked pretty good to me with the exception of a couple of mistakes where he hung his curveballs and got tagged. Patterson's been going between AAA and ML to fill in for injured starters, and now with all the injuries on Ari, he's good to stay for a good while, and that will be good for his psyche knowing that he has some job stability. Anderson's got nice road and day numbers this yr, but 2 of the L4 road games were vs the ChiSox, and he had a WHIP well over 1.5. His career numbers on the road, and in day games are a lot worse than what he has put up this yr. Not saying Zona's an offensive power house by any means, but I like Patterson's chances better than Anderson's.
Clv's bullpen's been used quite a bit lately, as well.
BTW, I'm really liking SD tonite with Loewer on the mound. But I'll wait to see how the early games go.
