Tough game...Iona lost by a few 10 days ago to the Saints...Iona just got through playing its best game ofd the year vs Monmouth.... yes they played some defense...saints get Wright back and scored 8 pts and 5 assists..he is tough...Bip and Onu inside are tough..Williams has to stay out of foul trouble...But lets not forget the saints aren't a good defensive team...think English and co. get good looks tonite and hit a ton of 3's...lean towards the Gaels... can't see the Saints beating Iona 2 times in 10 days... tyhese guys could be playing each other in a few weeks again for the MAAC championship.

Wow...I thought for sure Iona had blown that big lead...didn't get to see the game but they almost blew it...Iona always have so much talent..Cluess does a great job in recruiting in the metro area...he can't coach...a terrible bench coach...when I saw them play Marist last month in Poughkeepsie I was watching the layup line...they were all dunking and show boating...during their shooting drills they were taking 30-40 foot shots...no discipline what so ever...I know their just warm ups but sometimes you can tell what teams are the disciplined ones...I remember Much working on his 40 ft jumper....but I must admit he did hit a 30 footer..
Iona should win the MAAC...Monmouth is fading,Siena has a shot because they have some inside players and Wright is back. Not sure what he did tonite.Rider has some talent.. Fairfield could be a sleeper...the rest Manhattan,Peter,Marist,Quinn and Canisius are terrible... Elmer...I'm lucky I got home in time...I have cardio rehab on MWF so I'm late...just need the Cyclones now...
