yesterday featured what considered a really sharp play on the under in the northeastern/hofstra game, along with probably my worst play of the hoops season, boston college +8. the eagles produced one of the ugliest halves of major college basketball that i have had the misfortune to bet on and watch in my numerous years.
would love to wait and catch box and one's take on this game but i'm pressed for time this evening so i'm putting this in now. going with the iona gaels +1 based solely on one item of trivia that i stumbled upon. iona has never lost both games of a conference series in the 5+ years of coach tom cluess tenure. when down 0-1, iona is 9-0 in the rematch, including 3-0 on the opponent's home court. that's enough for me catching a point tonight.
