iowa +3 (1 unit)

recker (23 ppg in tourney) and evans are clicking on all cylinders right now, something they did'nt do during the regular season where iowa went 5-11 in big 10 play. don't forget this team was a pretty good ranked team at the start of the season, but just played terrible ball until now, where they realize it's either win or go home. just think they are getting what was originally expected from this team now and are destined for the 2nd year in a row to move on to the big dance.

take the 3 points with iowa

Certainly agree with the facts of your post. Recker is playing some of the sickest hoops that I have ever seen from a player. I am not inclined to lay points to a very hot Iowa squad today.

Don't think I want to touch the spread on this one but the total may have some value.

Iowa playing there 4th straight game may have some tired legs, but the desire will be there. Watching Ohio St this year they are a very patient team. They like to set up plays and wait for the open shot. They are not a good run and gun team. Ohio St knows what Iowa has done over the last 3 games and I see them slowing the Tempo in this one. 138 total points may be a bit high in this one.

Taking Under 138

Good luck today

Not so fast, my friends. :D

Iowa is play 4th game in 4 nights. Evans isn't exactly "clicking on all cylinders". He's been nursing injuries and has had back to back bad games, going 2-10 while logging 39 min yesterday. Iowa's had 2 improbable wins, and yesterday's win against IU is probably the biggest moment in Recker's career in more ways than one. He has got to be drained, not sure if he'll have much left in the tank to play OSU, even if he tries his heart out. OSU beat them handily twice this season, and this should be a third, even though Iowa is playing very inspired basketball right now. OSU was under control the entire Illinois game, I was very very impressed with them, they play great team D and spread the ball around on O.

No way I back Iowa today. But it's just MHO.
