no speed--no def backs that can cover and no wide receivers that can get open. Kirk will have to get rid of either his def coord or off coord to appease the troops over the winter--worst recod at Iowa in many years. He needs to modernize/update his offense to the times-the old pro stuff is not going to wokk.
The problem does not lie with the coordinators. It is the decimated offensive line, a pathetic Vandenberg, and most especially what you first said, NO SPEED! This defense looks like it is running through Jell-O. I've never seen an Iowa D-line this pathetic. They never get any pressure on the QB. Just not much athletic talent at all out there for the Hawks right now.
Yep Hash-right on also. Worse defesne by far. They have 2 good freshman QB's both all sttse/area kids one from Fla and one from Ala.,
