It's a mockup or prototype. Otherwise they wouldn't show the interior so readily.
I'm not an expert to know whether the video they have released of it flying is legit.

If Iran is promoting it, there is probably some exaggeration, and if the Western media is completely denying it, then there is probably some real truth to it. Liars gonna lie.

Either way, I doubt they have a fleet of these ready to go. :nono:

A fire handle comes equipped in the aircraft and is installed during manufacture. It has nothing to do with whether or not it has an engine.

Even mock ups, as this one is, have them.

Which is even further proof that this whole thing must be a hoax or a joke. I doubt Iran would be able to come up with something more advanced than the U.S. And if they did, we could always send Clint Eastwood over to go steal it. Impressed with your knowledge on the subject, though. Were you a pilot or an airplane mechanic or something?

I am an aircraft mechanic. I left American last year after 25 years as a mechanic. I worked on corporate and private jets prior to that. Crewed a Learjet-28 for a guy named Eddie Wachs when he tried to set the altitude speed record back in 88.
