Only problem with that progam is it has to many old parts to it. Most inspector by the time they left Iraq in 1998/99 said 95% of his weapons of Any Kind had been Destoyed. So far not much new has come out of Iraq last 3 months. So I dare say none of us have any idea what Real Truth is. Our other problem is what do we do after the war. Well the Kurds have there ideas there in the north of Iraq. The Moslems of the south have there ideas. By the way both groups like us about as much as a God likes the Devil. The Kurds hate Bush 1. Remember his adminastration told the Kurds to keep fighitng after we with drew in 1991. We were going to help them. Well Bush 1 stopped helping the Kurds in 91 and they have not forgotten. So there are many things here we have no idea whats facing our troops. I know many days we can watch Fox, CNN and they have all the answers. They dont know anymore then you and I. The government has that under control.

I appreciate the replies my fellow War Mungers! :D

I was just really appauled at the amount of crap that Saddam-a-go-go has gotten away with and the thought of us being responsible for it sickens me even worse! I mean damn......if the rest of the world can sit by and watch as one man builds an army of that size for one purpose only, to slaughter and poison, we are no better than them! I feel like watching and doing nothing is just as bad as giving that son-of-a bitch a hand building some more weapons! Think about it! Put it on a smaller scale and try to relate! Say you are standing there and this woman and child are being mugged by some crazy man and you only sit by and watch, I feel like you would be just as sorry as the scumbag doing the mugging! Sometimes it is necessary to get a big boy on your side if you can not whip the ass of the intended target by yourself.....If it is a worthy fight! I mean if we were just going over there to kick ass and then leave for nothing then I would say give peace a chance and see what happens! But in this case I say Peace just aint cuttin the mustard...........So High diddle diddle its time to go up the middle!

I guess I am gonna just get busy and cut me an album, get on the radio, get me a tour bus, hit the road, sign a contract, go to the grammies next year and accept my award for best new act, then after the show I will give an interview on how much we need to go into Iraq and bomb the shit out of em! Then maybe just maybe it will finally happen............Either that or Bush will finally get tired of making speeches on how bad we need to do it and finally put his money where his mouth is!

4. speech or discourse that pretends to significance but lacks true meaning:

There are many definitions of the word rhetoric....but I'm guessing this is the one you meant to imply.

Is this taking the subtle rout to tell me what I perceive is wrong? Just curious.

And my "mop up the spill" reference said nothing about military action. In fact, it had very little to do with military action. I would hope if youre going to reference content in my post, that you could at least do it accurately.

There have been hundreds of instances in which we have served as mediators between those in conflict. It has been in those instances that the rest of the world has sat back on their asses while we did what we could to smooth out differences between to rival nations or factions.

If thats not how you intended to use the word rhetoric, then I apologize

We should keep in mind Iraq has some of the weapons they do to defend them selfs from Iran. Iran hates Iraq cuts. We think Iraq is bad because they have a few planes left from 91 and maybe 500/600 thousand miltary. Iran has twice what Iraq has. And of course Iran has done more for terror and even held Americans hostage. When you think about it we have wrong country. Iran has oil to so we could get it there. But Iraq has more. Easier target at this time Iraq. If Bush likes war as much as news media says. Well then N Korea and Iran should be next. Im guessing he stops with Iraq. Bush also wants to get re-elected.

Yeah, Bluemound, he was talking to me. :D

And, no, I wasn't implying the you were 'wrong', Iminforabuck.

I meant you may have exagerated things slightly, not a subtle dig at all.

Great post, djv. I think you've summed it up very well indeed.

Anyway, I think I've run my race here! Weekend is fast approaching and I hear the beer a-callin'.

So :toast: everyone, and keep it safe.

Man I had to be witness to the largest peace rally there has ever been Saturday! The Nuns from the local monastery held a PEACE rally here in my little town this weekend at the local shopping center! The turnout was great...........If you are supporting Bush! The picture in the local paper showed all of em..........in a single shot, all 6-7 of them! I beleive the people of Cullman spoke looudly that they are supporting our President in his efforts instead! :D

Let's Go Dubya! ;)

"I have no great views either way on the issue itself, nor would I ever disparage a Vietnam Vet. (I am good friends with one myself), but what struck me was the absolute hypocracy with which he spoke.
Where, then is her 'freedom' to express how she feels? Where is her democratic right to voice her opinion"

Hmmm Being a vet I can understand when you see your mates die, disfigured ect so this bumb bitch who has benefited from it and contributed absolutuely nothing to society can turn her fat ass to flag. But I agree that is not the issue.

The issue: My question is where do you draw the line, turning back on symbol of america, burning the flag, teachers telling children whose fathers are in service that their fathers are baby killers in classroom, human shields against our milltary.
What next? I quess by most diffenition it would be fine to warn Iraq with our plans if they had the knowledge, hell why not just go take up arms against us,free to do whatever they like,Right.

I think they should have rights to their beliefs, but have yet to see the 1st that refused to pick up a welfare check, because they (believed) it was wrong for taxpayer to be supporting their lazy ass.

I've been to cullman and eaten at the Dairy Queen several times. Yes, I meant The Dairy Queen. The Sisters of Holy Rosary or the Brothers of Saint Bernards are a breed apart form the rest of Cullman.

Did you know that as of the year 2000. Cullman county had the highest rate of HIV cases per capita in the state of Alabama?

I don't know what that means other than the celabrate people of holy orders is a breed apart form the rest of Cullman.

I think you have left out one major fact there boys! Cullman also has the highest number of millionaires per capita than any other county in the state of Alabama. It may be small but is a very influential little town! And this fact is also important.........People here seem to be favoring and backing the gov't!

I also think your HIV fact needs to be checked! I beleive if I am not mistaken Jefferson County has the highest rate of HIV infection!
