Scott - R U SERIOUS... Notre Dame +20 at home versus anybody is an absolute lock. I will be you a thousand dollars with the Irish +20 at home vs.USC.

We will see how good USC D is this Sat. against Arkansas. Too hard to judge against Hawaii. But if the USC D is as good as I think, I have a hard time seeing ND scoring over 25pts against USC. I also have a hard time seeing ND keeping USC from scoring over 35pts. We all know USC brings out the special plays for their rivals.

I think USC has a better defense than Michigan and I know USC has a much FASTER defense. Carroll is USC's DC and he will bring out his special blitz packages for ND. Bank on it.

ND didn't put up a whole lot of pts against Michigan. Michigan has nowhere near the offense USC has. Not to mention SPEED.

So ND +20 is not the lock you think it is. Carroll will give Weiss the same beating he gave TY! At least I hope so.

If USC is -7 or less against ND, and USC D meets my expectations, i prob. will bet at least 10k on USC which is huge bet for me. Easy winner. But I will have better grasp on USC D after Arkansas. Def. after Oregon and ASU.

Weiss can beat Carr, but Carroll is a different animal.

Not worried about winning the game. Just to see how USC D plays. Can the DT's get penetration to QB. Can the DT's stop the run. How the LB's do. All question marks for the USC D. Playing a fun N GUN Hawaii team @Hawaii tells you very little about your defense. Good or bad. I will be really disapointed if USC D plays below average against Arky and I will predict an upset @Oregon or @ASU.

USC D might look great against Arky but the real test is against Oregon and ASU. But right now I have no read on the USC D. Except what I see and read in practices.

I think USC has good chance at winning the NC with a below average D. That is how good USC O is. There is so much talent on USC D that you shouldn't expect a below average D. So I need to see them tested against a conventional offense. I am hoping USC D can be above average. Right now I rate them average with super talent and extremely fast. LOTS OF POTENTIAL!

Remember, @USC is it all about USC. Not what your opponent does. That is what Carroll preaches. Practices are supposed to be harder than the games. Players @USC say it is true. Games are easy.

Michigan has plenty of speed on offensive. ND pushed them around for 3 and half quarters and almost gave them the game at the end. USC is in a bunch of trouble this time around. NO MORE BUBBLE screens this time around. Carroll is going to have to actually coach this game.

I can't predict a 20+ win for USC over ND untl I get a read on the USC defense. I have no worries about the USC offense. Defense I need more time to analyze. After Arky I will have a pretty good read. Before ND I will have an excellent read.

NONE of the Michigan offensive starters would start at USC. NONE. USC will run and pass the ball at will against the ND defense. You will see. Every starter on the USC offense will be drafted to the NFL. Ony position on offense where USC doesn't have depth is at center. I have been told th entire 2-deep on offense will be drafted to the NFL. I am not making this up. You will see the USC offensive production. Time will tell.

But I agree with you ND is more proven and has accomplished a hell of a lot more than USC so far this season. I respect ND and Weis a lot.

Remember, i was told Iowa, Michigan, and OU were going to dismantle and push USC around in each BCS bowl game. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG.

The thing I fear is ND has the offense and OC to keep up with USC. I have no read on the USC D and right now I would rate them AVERAGE. Weis can score on an average D. That is why I need time to evaluate the USC D.

Damn straight Carroll has to coach this game. Weis vs Carroll. WOW! Maybe #1 OC vs #1 DC. WOW! Loving it. I think Carroll has unfair advantage of superior athletes and depth. You will see.
