Is 10 "BETS" too many for you ???

I try to stay Very controlled with almost everything I do -Especially "Betting" !!!
I have 3 or 4 'systems' that Dictate a bet or no. Anyway, this week, I have 10 plays..
Usually I play 3-5 games per week,but since 10 'positions' fall into the area where they are a must play this week,I had to play them all,or I would feel I am not sticking to the 'systems and strategies' I use. If I 'went chicken' then I'm just guessing which to play ,and which ones not to move on.
Just wondering if you guys ever fall into this type of position???
I feel like I'm all in ,as my "UNITS" are 5 % of my 'stake',and I'm not prepared to reduce to 3% size wise... Anyway ,just wondering if anybody else runs into this. I think it is just a rare happening , and I feel I HAVE TO stick by my guns,otherwise I'm not being 'loyal' to my work I have put into these games...

SQUISH the FISH + $145 and CAN the PATS + $140.....
Maybe this 10 "PLAYS" in a day is a real nice thing. Can see Lots of guys don't really care ,too busy boozin away instead of trying to do some SOLID homework ,and come up with some live 'dogs' on their own.. F U C K IT !!
TOO much work spent coming up with some nice 'action' and then just wasting my time posting up here..Too many new fuchin idiots can really 'trash talk' a great site into a nightmare.
Screw it, why waste the effort and time. Tons of great guys been here a long time,but you get tired of the same bullshit each and every week by the "newest " Bean Town Jim...
What the Fuch happened to this spot Jack? Man, it must be old age or something, I've really had enough crap for a lifetime !!
Adios. Guess it's time to bring on the "young -bloods" that don't have a Fuching CLUE and let them cry and whine about their $5 fuchin 3 teamer that "just missed".................

Concerning your first post, if you have a system that's working and it comes up with 10 plays then of course you play them all. The only problem I see is that at 5% units you're a little on the aggressive side and a really bad 10 play week or day could hurt, but other than that there's nothing wrong with that many plays.

I'm paraphrasing a guy who taught me this, but let's say your system picks 55% winners. That's the same as having a box of 100 golf balls of which 45 are red losers and 55 are green winners. Now, everytime you reach in the box you pull out one ball and when you either take your win or your loss that ball goes back in the box and on the next pull your odds are exactly the same, so naturally you want to so this as often as possible since the odds are in your favor.

On your second post, I just hope you had a few too many beers or something.

Normally I would say ten is too many,but not necessarily. If you have faith in your systems and yourself , and can stand a rough day then go for it. Saturday in college ball I had more than ten posted selections. I for one read most of your posts and suggest
that you don't get too upset with the lack of response. Hang in there and I look forward to your fututre posts. Think about why you do this. I think I already know why, and it ain't for everyone's public approval. Keep up the good work you do, and don't let this little thing bother you so much. GL.

Have ofen thought about playing 10 plays a week.
Considered Starting with the early games and got to +3,
calling it a day....I also get very little response here .....
Not got a great record on post ...but don't post much here
am doing ok for the year...but bb is mostly entertainment
betting is a good sourse of income...since I am a "grinder"
I hedge a lot and go for middles with teasers,... all of which is frowned on by many here.


Am very impressed with th 2 upset wins You nailed!
Still.... don't see what you found to base them on....
but the results speak for themselves!

I don't post much, but I've been a lurker for 2-3 years. I don't seem to do as well when I post. Having a great NFL season so far, 31-8. I play about 5 sides and 5 totals per week. I play most of them the same. The only problem with 5% per play is if you have a rough day, (quite possible in the NFL) say 2-8. You would lose 34 units, more than 1/3 of your bankroll. I played 10 yesterday and played 3% each (went 9 - 1 +26.7 units). If it comes up next week, I'll bet 3% of my bankroll on each but my bankroll has increased by 25%.

I don't get much response on my posts either. I think more and more people on this forum are looking for picks rather than info & discussion.

Keep on posting, some of us lurkers are reading & I'll try to respond when I have time.

As for tonite I am betting 1% on Denv -8. this is a sh*t game but what the heck I'm up 28% for the week.
