Even for WVU high powerd offense? Too me thats a lot of chalk to cover on the road. Also thinking if WVU is up by the half they might rest some key players...thoughts

west virginia is not going to rest anybody. people who are talking about lookaheads for louisville and west virginia are failing to realize that the teams have a bye next week before their showdown.

but its mind boggling to see how people have absolutely no regard for laying 17, 20, 25, 30 points consistently in a football game. its just "a number" to some. they still cant get their money down fast enough. if wvu were favored by 30, theyd still get the majority of the action. naturally, every chalk bet is correlated with the over, because ... well, wvu might just get 50 by themselves tonight, right? nevermind they have looked beatable in the two road games theyve played against teams worse than uconn.

The public is what, 75-80% on WVa yet somehow I am not seeing 20 posts on how UConn is the play....I guess there arent too many folks taking UConn and trying to justify it.

A bye week before a game the magnitude of UL/WVU, in my opinion, is not enough to keep these kids from peeking ahead

The game has been billed as the de facto Big East Championship game since before the season started, and players from both teams know that the winner of that game has at least a chance to play for the National Championship

On top of that there has been too much clamoring from Rodriguez in regards to the BCS over the past couple of weeks - recent history has shown that teams should keep their minds on the task at hand and worry about the BCS at the end of the season
