Is Another Bookmaker Set To Close

I have today been in various discussions with other professional backers and the main topic of conversation were that it is rumoured that both SPORTINGBET.COM and SPORTINGODDS.COM may be about to announce closure.
I must repeat that these are only rumours but something is going on, that is for sure.
I would advise anyone who has money in their accounts at either of these bookmakers to withdraw it at once.
Still bet with them but deposit as and when you want to bet and withdraw winnings as soon as event has ended.

I am not saying it will happen but these rumours are from reliable sources and are never far from the mark.

It's not that easy since Sportingbet is a publicly traded company on the London Stock Exchange but its share price has been dropping quickly. Still it trades at over 32 british pounds so it's unlikely they will just close shop.

I must say I am surprised by that information. I have used sportingodds many times and found them to be very good!

However, Myron is right, as with Sportingbet, Sportingodds are backed by one of the biggest spread betting firms in the UK, so I would doubt very much that your cash would be in danger should you have any lingering in one of thier accounts.

All I know is that something is going on. The people I have spoken to do not rise issues like this without good reason or information.

I was informed during the World Cup that if Brazil won then Sports.com could well go under as their liabilities were huge as they took a stance on Brazil not winning. Two months later these rumours were correct.

Also at the beginning of the year I was told Netbetsports were in trouble, this proved correct.

All I am trying to do is warn / caution others that something may be going on not today or tomorrow but a few months down the line.

I to bet with Sportingodds.com, mainly on the rugby. Their odds compiler is pretty crap and more often than not their handicap line is out of line with the industry. If I managed to win ? 7,000 from rugby bets alone from this firm, god knows what others have done as there are many more clued up rugby bettors than myself.

Lets just sit back and see what develops.
