I don't think its even a debate that 4 of the best WRs in the country play in the SEC. Lots of stout passing games in the "gring it out" conference...

If Oregon Defense faced anyone as good as AJ Green, Childs, Alshon or Julio, there may be a case for their defense being as good as Auburns. But I don't see any 1st round offensive draft picks on Oregon St, washington, wsu, ucla or cal.

I would agree about the talent of Green and Jones, but let's not get ahead of ourselves, just because the talent is there, doesn't mean that they maximize that talent. You still have to have a QB throw the ball to the WR, and an offense that gets them the ball. Other than Ark. and Auburn, the SEC offenses have what seems to be two WR routes, a 10 yard out and a post.

I think that the Oregon Offense is incredible.....The game pace is almost unbelievable....if u went to the fridge for a beer chances are u missed about 4-5 plays....the stamina and endurance is amazing.....This has got to be the best Off this Aub Def has played....

If you want to pinpoint Auburns weakness, its the secondary, but Darron Thomas is hardly a threat to consistently complete long passes down field.

If theres anything to worry about, I'd be worrying about Oregons minuscule defensive line, who is going to be manhandled by Auburns front.

the size advantage on both lines is a HUGE difference....throw in a 6'6 150lb qb who will be as big or bigger and faster than almost the entire ore d and i have no idea how ore slows aub down

on the other side.....i expect ore to score, but not like they usually do becasue aub d-line will also have a BIG advantage and have some success.....and as stated, thomas is not the type of qb to take adv or the aub weakness, passing game vs the secondary.

AU had 4 road games this season @ miss st, Kentucky, mississippi, and They closed the season vs Bama
Which is in state.. Honestly that was a incredible game and great win by AU...
Oregon played @ Tennessee, Arizona St, washington state,
USC, CAL, and Oregon State (obviously in state)...

For the Bowl stuff,
Have u looked at some of the ooc games on the schedule for the S.E.C...A big giant plate full of Cupcakes...If u can win 3 games in conference play, your Bowl eligible ....Kentucky only needed to go 2-6 in S.E.C. To make a Bowl....Georgia (3-5 S.E.C) , Tennessee (3-5 S.E.C), all 3 of these teams finished the season with a losing record at 6-7 so it's not a impressing feat for me that 10 teams went bowling

Although he's not better then HC C.Kelly who also has been the OC @ Oregon since 07 and has had the best offense in the PAC10 each of those seasons since joining the Conference

10 of 12 in bowls, and one of them not was the best player in the PAC-10 last year - Masoli. He got pounded over and over and over.

This game is not about conferences.

Oregon has to keep it close in the first half. They usually don't explode until the second. The difference is, Auburn's offense is much different than the offenses they have played this year.

The teams are almost mirror images of each other. IF, and yes IF, Darron Thomas can hit some passes early downfield, I think Oregon has a great chance.

There is just something about this Auburn team that makes it hard to bet against them.

It's been said before in this thread but I think the game will be won in the trenches and Auburn should be able to dominate on both sides. Auburn has played a much tougher schedule and it will show tomorrow night.
