Is betting unders now a "pointless" endevor?

Excuse the pun.....in this new "Modern Age NFL", other than possibly the coming play-offs; are under betters pissing into a strong headwind?

Rules all slanted towards offense,there are some REALLY REALLY crappy teams out there.
Fundamental football skills are taking a big backward step.

I have been a fan since mid sixties (yeh I'm getting old) its getting tougher each Sunday for me to watch the current near sissified product.
I understand player safety is a modern issue, but come on, let em play. (a little bit?)

I don't have the stats, but under players gotta be getting their asses handed to them.

WHY even bet unders anymore?:shrug:

it certainly does feel like overs are hitting at ridiculous clip, though apparently only 77 to 68 so far, which breaks down to like 1 more over (than under) every week

And the totals are definitely getting higher as well.

In years past you saw some as low as 32-33
Now it appears to be 42-43
