don`t you get that somewhere there is a group of health insurance executives smiling and laughing....they just got millions of gov't mandated new customers and coverage requirements that provide cover for raising premiums......
and all they had to do was feign strident opposition to the bill for a couple months.....:142smilie
but the joke will be on them when (a few years down the road)they realize that this was just the first step toward single payer.......
so everybody gets hosed...except european style big government...we all get the same lousy rationed healthcare(except for the unions and gov`t honchos)...

yep...f-cking things up for those of us that work hard and pay our own way...our parents and (the rest of us) that worked and paid our way will get screwed when obama strips 500 billion from medicare to put into medicaid for the illegals and those that suck the life`s blood out of the system......

hopefully,this will be repealed when the republicans retake the house and senate...and hopefully,the damage will be minimal...
if we`re lucky,the people will dismantle this train wreck and build over it with a foundation of of pre-existing condition coverage and portability(the sixteen thousand new irs employees will have to wait).....

tom coburn wrote a bill previously...and some brave soul in congress just had another amendment proposing that all citizens get the same healthcare congress is proposing for us shot down....again....they aren`t interested in having the healthcare they want to force down your throat.......
teddy kennedy didn`t have the obama/pelosi plan... he had a much better plan..... he was an old,sick man...but he didn`t have some bureaucrat telling him to take the pill.....your mother and father(and eventually yourself won`t have the options that we have now...the options that will remain available to the politicians).....
you`ll be waiting in the same line with people that aren`t even citizens...

The plan states(will it be implemented that's another story) that healthcare industry's will be rewarded for QUALITY of care not QUANITY).
Now the way the system is they don't care because the more you serve the more $$ you get.How can that be high quality care.
My bro-in-law had to wait almost half a year for a physical now is that quality or quantity care.
My office was no better until I told them it was for a medical card.Then you have the other side of the coin where people against the plan say the care will suffer,be prepared to go without if you have a pr-existing condition,etc.
In fact that is already happening now but people seem to brush that under the rug.Just ask any kid that has a pr-existing condition if there getting the proper care.Like I said I'm all for the plan I just think the timing is wrong.
I also think if O is doing this for his legacy it is a major mistake.
