You are funny. You go from saying you enjoy the banter back and forth, to feeling provoked. Check out some of the other threads where there is real hate between posters.
In case you don't understand between the lines speak, let me put in in plain English. Calling people public bettors and throwing a fit cause they won when you lost isn't cool. You're doing the exact thing that you started a thread to question. If people want to be a "square", then who gives a crap. It's not your money they're losing.
As far as your UCLA play, I do have to call bullshit on that. You were all over it all week, and then you somehow made out like a bandit going against yourself? You say you're here to help yourself and others win. Well, if that were remotely true, you would have posted exactly what you were doing by changing your play to alert those who did follow you as to your intentions.

As for your little contest, well, I'll pass. How would little old public me ever compete with professional gambler you? Besides, that would benefit the board how? If you are cranky cause I question you, well, then maybe your guilt is controlling you.
And the banter between us or banter between others gets newbies to think everyone is against someone? This is a forum. Forums are for discussing. Isn't that what we're doing? You have a viewpoint and a way of doing things. I'm questioning it. You defend it. Someone else questions it. You defend it. Offer all the insight you want. Help people make money all you want. That is great, but as you say there are new members here who might be confused...well, then maybe you should consider being forthright with all of your picks and again, let them know when you've gone against something you've been promoting all week. It's the right thing to do.

As always, I made good cake betting "against the public" in college this weekend and then bet like "tom, dick, and douchebag" on GB in the NFL ( and took it in the ASS on Clevland). I still feel that it was the right side, but forces colluded against them. Wtf, I think of myself of a good contrarian player, and this one had so much writing on the wall, but I bit anyway. Pats/Browns line went to -15.5 before kickoff, which meant a cover for Pats. So tell me, which side was public? "Sharps" on Browns late and public small money one Pats consistently early? Whatever the case, late Pats grabbers cashed in.
I find nothing wrong with being a contrarian player. Nothing at all. I think it has a lot of merit. As I've mentioned several times though, I don't like when people come in posting "Well, looks like asshole public are going to f-ing win this one." That, if anything, is stirring the pot.

If you're in this and doing well you're still gonna be on the wrong end 40% of the time. So, to answer your quesiton, 'Is it just me or?'--My humble opinion is yea, it's just you.....And if you get this through your head, maybe you can convince your buddy Kneifl too, the ability to pick a streak of winners doesn't make you any more or less of a douchebag.

I guess what I should have said is that his current complaining about banter has nothing to do with what I've posted in his threads, because I've wished him luck in those threads as well. If you continue that same thread, you will see that the banter was in jest, both ways, not bashing him in his thread, nor him me.
I love you stirring both sides of the pot. It's what makes you you.
And btw, refract means to deflect. Perhaps what you meant was "retract", Captain Awesome?
