Ray -

You can analyze and over analyze and trend pick.

But basically - if you can pick the team that is gonna win...

That's HALF the battle.....

So many people are worried about getting screwed with
the points....that if they'd just pick the winner they'd be OK.

For example....Who picked Carolina over Atlanta ??
You thought it was gonna be close - worried about the 4.5 ?

JUST PICK THE WINNER...and then anaylze the game.

UK PLAY OF THE DAY:rolleyes: LOL DEFENSE AND SPECIAL TEAM COULD DECIDE THIS GAME, TBAY DEF ALLOWS JUST 50% PASS COMPLLETIONS AND HAS PROVEN TO BE A PROBLEM FOR BRET FAVRE IN THE PAST! THE BUCS ARE 4-0 SU AND 3-1 ATS HOSTING GREENBAY!THE BUCS HAVE GIVEN UP THE FEWEST POINTS OF ANY TEAM IN THE NFL, WHILE ALLOWING JUST TWO TD PASSES THEIR LAST 9 GAMES, THE PACK HAVE LOST THIER LAST 4 GAMES AT TAMPA. MY LEAN TBAY AND UNDER

Gotta agree....

Gotta agree....

You can look at games until you're black and blue, but there is simply no way to account for turnovers (worse still....muffed catches!!!) and/or where they occur.

And then there's the officials..........................

I, for one, have had my fill of the NFL. I usuallywin in college (with the exception of yesterday), and turn around and hand most of it back on the NFL. I've made it official as of today. I'm finished with the NFL. :thefinger

The problem is when teams are up by alot, they tend to change their offensive & defensive play calling. For some reason they don't realize that they should play the way they were when they took the big lead. That is why taking large favorites are tough bets.

Good Luck.

NFL is tough requires a different mind-set from the college game.

One more note, and you can feel free to go back and do a search in the MLB forum on my advice there back in the spring, The word "LOVE" does not belong in your sports investing vocabulary. Every big losing game that is over bet is generally associated with the word "love" Simply close to the same as the word "LOCK".

Generally where there is love someone is getting screwed, usually it is your wallet.

:nono:

ALSO guys (& gals) go check out the leaders in the INFINITY contest Kosar is coming off of a 10- 0 run last two weeks with tough competition between the top 10.

One more note I missed a nice winner on the Browns today but I rarely bet them I am too emotionally attached to objectively perform a valid handicap.

NFL is very difficult to cap...too much parity.

Also....there are a few things that hurt ya - for instance the Pass Int. call....spot of the foul....next thing ya know your on 2 yards line

Although.....nothing is harder to me then NBA

Omar Ditto NBA I have stopped other than a few I coattail. I can't figure it out. I call it the NBA, Nothing But Arrogance !

Reflog I didn't bet the game but N Orl has struggled in the Fav Role. From the fans view point we need someone to take out the Steelers as we couldn't do it ourselves. Otherwise I am worried about making the playoffs with the new format.

I've never seen anything like it..

I've never seen anything like it..

Been wagering on sports since i have been 19. I'm now 34. I've never seem anything like this in any sport, ever. I',m not gonna sit here and say I'm the best handicapper around, but I know things, just like you guys do, I get my info, I do my homework, and I know sports wagering, and I had some of the best stats on Carolina today I've seen in forever. They all meant NOTHING! Pathetic! The parity/mediocrity has totally effected my ability to pull the trigger on a lot of games, and now I'm betting/capping scared in a way. That may lead to a total destruction of my bankroll if I'm not careful. In any case, I couldn't possibly agree more.
