Is it time to leave Iraq? This is ridiculous. Are we so weak that cowardly attacks change our minds? I hope not. This is about good and evil. The biggest threat to world stability and prosperity is Islam. We've intentionally left Iraq's borders open to attract muslims like cockroaches. Let them come to us and let them die. Leaving Iraq is giving up. As Islam spreads, it becomes more and more dangerous. Eventually, the muslim nations of the world will attempt to destroy the christians and jews. If you don' t believe this, you are ignorant. We must destroy them before they destroy us. Next up, Iran, and Syria.

I couldn't agree more Ray, but I long for the days
when the CIA was real, covert operations without
the whole world knowing, assasinations hell yes,
this political correct shit is bringing us down, we
need to go back to the days where people like
bin Laden were sniffed out and disappeared from
the face of the earth, CIA style....We have got
to get over this squeeky clean "we don't do any
thing wrong" crap and go underground and start
taking people out....these cowards don't FEAR
us because we don't play their game, we have
got to start playing their game...we have got to
go after these chickenshits without fear of ABC,
CBS, NBC, etc. standing around taking pictures...
yes we have to instill FEAR in these chickenshits
by taking them out ANY WAY POSSIBLE...

no Raymond, the world is just one big thing of grey

Eddie Haskill and likeminded enlightened people feel this way. You dont understand these people. You should have some sympathy towards a culture which glorifies terror, oppresses women, does not believe in justice, and mutilates missionaries with hatchets.

Dr. Haskill diagnoses people with cancer and tells them that the cancer is just something that wants to exist and has as much right to as anything. It is not bad. It is not good. It is some shade of grey.

Dr. Haskill would treat your cancer by ignoring it, hoping that it would just go away. He would leave it alone, all the while denying its potential to spread, consume, and devour.

These liberal peaceniks have been around forever and never have been able to recognize a threat. They think you can just play kitchen with these people and that they will eventually go away. They don't realize that even after a policy of fear, indecisiveness, and retreat -- we still got hit with our pants down.

And they want us to act that way again?

The idiocy!!!!

It's not about going home Ray. It's about learning and doing things different. Nam we went home we didn't learn in 10 years. We have used more reasons if you wish to call them that. For invading Iraq I ever saw us use for war. We don't just pick up an go home. To late we went there. Much like Nam we went there. Only thing with Iraq we were not asked to come. Nor did the rest of the world tell us to go. So it's about election now. Have the election. And keep training the new police and security force made up of Iraqis. We were told by Bush during our election they had 110000 trained. The goal is 1500000. As they complete that task we can be bring home 25000 of ours per month after this election. Then in June we can give it all back to them. Were not about nation buliding our Mr Bush said. So prove it's not about oil either and bring them home at that point.

Raymond:

In my opinion the greatest threat to world peace is Christian Fundamentalism. Doctor it appears that you and Raymond believe that Islam is evil and Christianity is good. Am I right?

So we got 2 billion muslims and 2 billion christians each thinking they are on the side of good and the other is evil. Anyone else have a problem with this scenario.

I mean didn't Khomeni call us the Great Satan. Old joke. Did you hear about Salmon Rushdi's new book. It's entitled "Fock Buddha". Sorry.

Frankly this ain't quite befitting the holiday but don't you guys see how religion, either religion, can get the world into big trouble. To many people have died in the name of God/Allah.

Oh yeah Raymond, Tara wants me to ask you what time she should be home?

Does anyone else envision Dr. Freeze as looking like Slim Pickens as he was sitting on top of that nuclear bomb as its dropped over Russia in the movie Dr. Strangelove. I mean I can see him straddling that bomb, waving his cowboy hat, and whopping it up as he flies off into oblivion.

Nice - I finally have a vision to go with the words!
:)

So OK - I might even buy into the idea that Islam is a growing threat. This is why I ask over and over again - WHY THE HELL DO WE KEEP BUYING THEIR OIL?????? We could make ourselves exponentially safer by removing our unhealthy alliance with the oppressive Saudi regime. That is what drives so much of the fanatics hatred towards us.

SALTY: "....these cowards don't FEAR us"
Can you read your own contradiction in terms? Get over the idea that they are cowards - in fact we need to remove useless words like that from our rhetoric altogether.

BUT ACTUALLY - I totally igree about upping the covert operations. I have no love lost for the "enemy". Why not let snipers and assassins do the deeds more efficiantly in lives as well as money? Makes more sense on most levels.

To the Right Wing - Stop blaming the Left for the problems in Iraq. All you're doing is whining - makes you sound like babies. Most of the people against the war were saying the same things - giving all the warnings ahead of time. Many of us try to embrace the fight anyway - but we never felt it was the right thing, so it's difficult to just be "rah team" all the time.

Bush blew it. He's the worst president in a very long time. This rush to war will stick with us and the costs are becoming imeasurable. Can't blame the media for his horrible judgement.

"the greatest threat to world peace is Christian fundamentalism" -- Eddie Haskell

classic!!!!

get this:
Islamofasciism is evil. People who exterminate terrorists are good.

Plain and simple. Black and white. No "grey" at all. People who take missionary women who work in hospitals caring for the sick and disabled and slaughter them with hatchets are evil.

And you wonder why you can't relate with mainstream America.

PS -- Does anyone else envision eddie as a trial lawyer telling you that it does not ever get cold in Siberia?

And that soldier who had consenual sex with an Iraqi teenage boy then killed him.....................

And the leader of the USA who follows what Jesus tells him, is responsible for the deaths of 20,000 to 100,00 people.............

And the shooting of Iraqi wounded who are lying on the floor defenseless, under guard, in a house...................

And the deaths of Iraqi prisoners at Abu Gerab...................

Your point?

Who are the terrorists? Who's committing War crimes? Jan 30, a new dictator approved by Bush will be elected and more people are going to be killed. Nothing will change. When the big one starts in July, we better be ready. Many Californians already have their shelters good to go

Dannie boy:

Thats my point. One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. It depends on your perspective and which team you bet on. All I'm suggesting is people realize that there are Dr. Osama Bin Freezes in Baghdad who feel the same way about us that our very own Dr. Freeze feels about them.

I'm missing your point about July and the California shelters.
