there is a numerical formula that most of the teams use that is based of position of picks...

yeah I know there is, I was just going off the top of my head....

1st pick- 3000 pts

lets take the cowboys for example, they would need to give up..........

(1)22nd pick- 780
(1)28th pick- 660
(2)60th pick- 300
(4)124th pick- 48
(1)2009 25-32 pick (720-590)
(3)2009 89-95 pick (145-120)
------------------------------------------
thats still only around 2600 pts, regardless, thats a lot of scratch

yeah...it's definitely not worth it...

the football 'experts" changed their opinions on large draft day trades once they realized where brady was drafted.....

Follow the Yellow Brick Road. Patriots are light
years ahead of NFL draft and free agency. It's
called homework. They do it, others try. BB is
a mastermind. Get used to it.

Its never too early and the Bears pick of Andre Woodson at 14 will never happen...........no way....

OL all the way, plus after watching Woodson on NFL network at the SR Bowl practices, he stinks

OT-Ryan Clady, OT-Jeff Otah or S-Kenny Phillips would all be better selections for the Bears at 14

totally agree, there is no way the bears should take a qb in round 1.....all three of those guys you mentioned are much better picks for the bears (and woodson does stink).

i see the bears going tackle, safety (in some order in 1 rounds 1-2) and then with 2 thirds taking a rb (deep class) and possibly a future qb (flacco or henne if they are still there)

i also dont think they will blow their wad on turner as he's gonna ask for too much money and he doesnt really compliment benson well (and there are a ton of good rb's in this draft and cheaper options in f/a like ward or fargas)....i also see the bears signing a igh profile guard in f/a, maybe a safety and/or dt + either resigning berrian or franchise tagging him.....if we lose berrian before the draft then i see the bears looking at wr early as well.

I'm not so sure the Bears will resign Berrian and I would hope to God they do not tag him..... You have Moose, Hester and Davis on one side and Bradley and Hass on the other.....I was disappointed the coaching staff in their stubborn ways did not get Hass onto the field....same with the lack of playing time for Bradley who is just as fast and taller than Berrian........like you said if we do let Berrian go, we will need a big bodied wr to replace Moose(which I hope this is the last season for him in a bears uni)...as Hester and Bradley should be able to be adequate for Berrians absence....throw in Olsen and Clark....there are weapons, problem is, there is no time to get them the ball, or to allow plays develop

maybe a malcom kelly or a limas sweed in the 2nd round, especially if we addresed some of the oline issues through free agency...........

Top Olinemen in free agency this year

1. Alan Faneca, G, Steelers.

2. Ryan Lilja, G, Colts.

3. Jordan Gross, OT, Panthers.

4. Jake Scott, G, Colts.

5. Max Starks, OT, Steelers

Let Briggs and Berrian go, even though I like both of them and throw archuletta to the wolves, I dont know how hes able to show up and get his check each week while holding a straight face, he commits robbery every week.......
