Kansas is not nearly as bad this year as they have been in years past. They are one of the more improved teams. I wouldn't normally pay as much attention to them, but my best friend's nephew plays for OL for them. He is a RS Frosh starting at left tackle. Kinda adds a little interest. I watched the Mizu and Nebraska games and to be truthful, they looked very good in both. Although Wittemore didn't throw for much more than 100 yds in the Mizu game, he did run for 2 td's... I think that there was less than 200 yds passing in the game by both teams combined. Very good defensive game. Kansas also played very well defensively against Nebraska. But with Wittemore on the bench, they could not muster much offensively. Frosh QB Adam Barman's 3 int's didn't help much either. I truly believe that if Wittemore was in there, they would have beaten Nebraska.
Kansas lost to A&M, Neb, and OK ST.... all without Wittemore.
In limited action, He threw for 2142 yds, 16 td's to only 4 int's and also rushed for 450 and 9 td's. There aren't many QB's in the country that can compair.
Kansas also falls into the Happy as Hell to be here role, and should play their hearts out. Whereas NC St falls into the dissappointing season role as they were expecting to do much better.
I can't say the Kansas will win, but with Wittemore in there, which he will be, I do believe that they will cover.
Typical over-rated team vs under-rated team with large spread.
