I really think they are pathetic. They got out to a quick start but they cant seem to hit the side of a barn lately , a good fade I think for the next few weeks

The Brewers are a very young team. I think theres going to be alot of ups and downs. Baseball is a game of streaks and I think even more so with a young team. That being said these last 3 games against the Pirates have been very disappointing.

On the course!
I was joking with some co-workers after the Crew beat the hell outta the Phillies. I said, "Watch them lay an egg in Pitt, and get beat by ten each game."

I was only half joking, but it seems to be their M.O. this year........Beat up on a team you are expected to lose to, and hammered by a weak one! They are a sub .500 team, waiting to fall to that level right now.

A couple weeks ago, I had higher hopes, but the pitching has been hurt even more since then.

The bats? You try and figure a team out that leads the league, or is close, in most offensive catagories, and can't score half of the nights!?!?

The best "handicapping" insight I can give you for now on this team, is pass on every game!

On April 7, 1970, the Milwaukee Brewers played their first game ever. Do you remember who the starting lineup was that historic day?

Didn't you put out a thread a week or so ago, stating that you thought the Brewers may be one of the best teams in the NL?

You mentioned how tough their schedule was, and they still were around .500.....

Didn't take long for you to do a complete turnaround.....

Just funny to see your thread now, saying they suck..... Sheets and Ohka were hurt then just as they are now, so it's not like anything changed with their pitching, other than their performance.

Sports Illustrated has nothing on you in terms of being able to jinx a team.....

Mags, you should be a politician, with the way you manage to spin things.

Yeah, a couple of weeks ago I pointed out that there might be a spot for the Brewers to pile it on coming up. Now, it turns out they are as weak as they really should be, and were probably just an over-achieving team early on.

I certainly didn't expect them to fail as they did against the Pirates, but as I stated......it seems to be what the Brewers do. (I over estimated their offensive ability, I guess, as I know they have no pitching.)

It really has nothing to do with a "turnaround" or saying that they "suck". (Which, I'd like to know where I did, by the way.) This is still a sub .500 team, give or take few games, by years end. That had no play whatsoever on my opinion two weeks ago. Two weeks ago, IMO, they looked primed to go "on a run". Their upcoming schedule looked like it gave them a good shot at that run....... I was wrong two weeks ago, so should I "stand my ground", and say I was not wrong?

If it makes you a big man to rub my face in it, good for you!

As for no change in their pitching, where the hell have you been? I guess if call calling up guys from AA and AAA "no change", well.......
