IS OAKLAND GONNA BEAT TEXAS????

I know...it's a long shot, but for some reason this one stands out to me the most out of all the long shots!! Someone talk me outta this cuz I'm seriously considering it.......If Texas came into this tourney playing like they were up until the Nebraska game they'd be a team to reckon with, BUT since then they've gone 2-2 and have slipped a bit. I know BIG strength of schedule advantage, but this Oakland team is GOOD!! I've researched them and watched them...they are GOOD!! Texas gonna have to play some serious D to stop this team from scoring!

I LOVE this Oakland team... and love them in the next round too if they get by Texas. I've got 'em upsetting Texas in my bracket and I'll probably put something on them +the points. I don't think i have the balls to make a play on the ML, but Texas is such an up and down, inconsistent team, I think they have just about as good a chance as any high seed to get upset in the first round.

Yeah...size could be an issue. TX for sure has the defensive edge, BUT do they have the hunger I feel Oakland will bring??? Dunno??

Oakland could get beat down and I'll be look'n like a fool, but it's MADNESS!!!! Ah well!!!

I liked Texas Until The Total came out it says everything. This will be a fairly close game. If Texas takes them lightly and does not dictate tempo which the total suggest they could lose. Barnes needs to pressure the ball from 30 feet in Texas has a D that can slow down OKY but if they get in a shootout aka kansas, uconn,NORTH CAR,and colorodo all high scoring affairs they lost. which is not there strength they could lose easily- but if they slow things down and dictate tempo like against Kansas 1ST time and mizzu they win quite handily.That total says everything JMO

I have Oakland in the sweet 16; as I think they handle Ariz or Memphis...

They will have to bring it all to win over Texas, but in ranking the 13 seeds, they are the best in my book, with Belmont at a close 2nd...
They may jump up and bite Wisky in the ass...

When Hamilton went through his slump it showed miserably in the Colo and Neb games. The defense suffered at the same time because it is much easier to run ur defense after a made shot. Texas can run. It turns Balbay into a strength instead of a liability.Thompson can get up and down the court as well as any big in the country. The worst thing they can do in thus game is totry and slow things down. BTW they beat NC and their win against KS was a high scoring game. Just my two cents

I can tell you that this numbers do not matter because of two reason:

1.- Oakland cannot have an edge in this kind of games in regular season because they ask for a game and they have to play away everygame, is ridiculous the number of home games "big schools" have every year, and

2.- MMAD is all about matchups, coaches and guards, rebounding is great, but you need smart players playing defense and offense and a creator everyplay.
