WHAT TO WATCH: Clemson should have no problems picking up its ninth win of the season against Division II Puerto Rico-Mayaguez in the opening round of the San Juan Shootout. If Clemson does win, it will make the Tigers 9-0 for just the ninth time in school history. Clemson is one of 17 Division I teams still undefeated and is just one of two ACC teams (No. 1 Duke). This will be Clemson?s fourth trip to the San Juan Shootout. Clemson is 5-4 in its three previous trips combined, but the Tigers have been to the finals twice (1989, 96). The Tigers are 5-2 all-time against the rest of this year?s tournament field. Clemson is one of just two schools to rank in the nation?s top 20 in both steals (No. 4) and block shots (No. 18). Guard Vernon Hamilton leads the ACC in steals and ranks No. 16 nationally.
