what's ironic is that they did what they needed, make it a 2 of 3 back home ... but losing this way, letting the 3-1 advantage slip away, is murder ....

however, they will be slight faves in home games, no? (saying it goes 7)

and they werent even a fave to win series after being up 2-1... will some learned colleague explain that all to me ...

lets hear what you guys have to think about this series  (to me its fascinating in many ways, least some friggin drama) ...

initially, in the aftermath shellshock while hypervenillating in my living room, I thought Sac was dead, but not so sure now ... they have been better team and LA hasnt put hammer down impressively on anyone ... Lakers won game 1 by shooting lights out in opening qtr...

Gawd, I hope Sac wins, and not just for my $$ ... I'd like to see changing of guard and guru PJ have to watch finals on the tube...

take care, pt1gard

still no answers?

still no answers?

Im really itrigued by this ...

Sac is favored in game 5 (and prob will be in game 7 if it goes that far) and they led series 2-1, and were still underdogs to win series ...

has anyone ever seen such a thing?--i guess it is all respect to defending champs but mathematically, it makes no sense ...

sorry to ramble

Ironic it is, but a surprise....no. My book has the Lakers -180 to win the series still and Sac -2 tonight! That makes me think the smart play is the Lakers tonight. Even though I have been talking about "falling in a trap" all day today, I feel I am on the right side! I still 100% think Lakers win this series and win tonight in SAC! I can just forsee the Championship series (Nets & Lakers) show clips of early playoff games and Horry's jumper being run again and again and again!! Just my humble opinion........

yes, it surprised me too when i saw the lakers were still faves to win the series when they were down 2-1.

it'll surprise me even more if they're faves to win the series now that they're down 3-2.

anybody seen a line yet?
