Is Stephen Davis playing today?

The Washington Post reports the Redskins intend to test RB Stephen Davis's injured right knee shortly before Sunday's game at Seattle, but they don't expect him to play and plan to start RB Kenny Watson in his place, HC Steve Spurrier said yesterday. Davis sat out practice for a third straight day but accompanied the team to Seattle yesterday afternoon. "He's doubtful," Spurrier said. "He hasn't done anything all week [but] he's going with us. We'll see how he is Sunday morning." Davis said just before boarding a bus at Redskins Park that he is holding out some hope of playing, but added: "I don't know. . . . I'm just going to see what's going to happen."

He has not practiced all week, but he may try to play. Even if he does he will not be close to 100%.
