Evidence of life.... ALL RIGHT!

Thanks for the well wishes, Buddies.

A little disappointed at only getting 1.6K hits though (LOL) next time I post something like that I'm gonna title it "Tip" ... or POOPano. I really like that last title, Skodaa. BTW, nice track that Poopano, hit that place quite often my first year down here. Place is dead now with their casino next door these days.

Well, it's Sat. so IF anybody's interested in anything today DO stop in, either here or start a thread and I'll jump in.

Due to the holiday spirit, I'm gonna put one here for the Poopers. er... I MEAN PEEPERS!
But don't get spoiled now... my new policy is I ain't gonna be posting to myself any mo. :nono:

The 3rd race today almost floored me (well, something like day). The M.L. on nos. 1 and 2 are ridiculous, absurd, FLUCKED UP, whatever. 10-1 on no. 1 (whether 1A runs or not doesn't matter) and no. 2, I think, should be the favorite. That one is 6-1.

Well, the Philly oddsmaker can get a lesson at what the no. 1 should be when this race goes off cause it ain't gonna be 10-1. I'm gonna just write here that .....

Nos. 1 and 2 could both hit the board and either one LOOKS good enough to me to win this race.
Exacta factors (bot or top?) should be the 5,7,8, or 11.

Non exotic players or just Longshot players? Well, no. 11 could be the win play but you just gotta get either the no. 1 or 2 as a side play along with it.

G.L.
May be back soon to see if anybody's interested in the Philly dirt bombs today.

The beat goes on...

The beat goes on...

Maybe I'll just post how I'm doing... it just might help somebody if they thought it may have been a good idea to play along...

1st RACE (this race was SPOSED to be UNplayable)

ONE horse looked MUCH better than the rest in the paddock and Post Parade... no. 2. I couldn't resist...

This race consisted of genuine Philly DIRT BAGS. The two favorites looked like the only two, OTHER than the no. 2, who had legs that actually move. So can you believe this?...

- I play no. 2 top/bot with 7,8. That's all

- No. 2 wins and pays $20.20

- and who finishes second.. the DANG "magic nos. hoss" no. 6.

- 2-6 zacta pays $242.60.

Here we go, AGAIN... SON ah ma - BITCH!

ugh!

Great.. Hammy is here.

YOU know I don't B.S., Hamster. I'm almost feeling like forgetting about hosses. Get this...

After that first race, I was a little bummed out. I noticed the horse I had rated WELL ahead of the others was at 5-1; I expected much lower odds. But there was plenty of time to get a bet in. I decided that they would bet no. 4 down and I'd just do some writing about my first race fiiasco here instead.

I come back and they're loading for the 2nd. I just sat here and watched my 3 TOP rated horses, in order, finish 1-2-3. I'm really getting pretty disgusted. At least I didn't have any intention of playing Tries in that race. Still the win payoff (especially) and the exacta payoff was much more than I expected it would be...

My exacta plays were"1,4 top/bot 2,7".

NOW, lets see what happens, I already posted what I like for this dang wace.

Batting a 1000 so far, gang. Wheeled no. 9 top/bot. in zactas.

I also played 3 other hosses W/Pl. (longshots). None of those clicked.
No other bets.

That 4th race was also an "unplayable"; did a quickie handicapping method and mostly went by how they L@@KED.

Game plan is to play each race as they come up considering the way things have turned around for me today. Lose one stinkin race ... and only PLAYABLE races from that point on.

6th and 8th are playable race.

Hey, Pd1 and Sportsaholic - you shoulda jumped in today cause your streak would still be intact :)

It ain't official yet, but looks like the streak continues... played 2,3 top/bot w. 9,12 in this 5th race.

Tellya, I'm glad nobody is coming around cause they would prob., by now, be killing the prices on these picks. Today woulda been my bestest day (percent of winning tickets, not amount won) EVER. Counting the first two races that I didn't get in.

Play this race was.. 2,3 top/bot with 9,12.

The beat is sounding better that ever.

Hammy, I didn't see you before this last race. I bet a lot of combos and hit the zacta in the last race. Only played exactas and two single horses to win, only. Zackta paid good. I wheeled the no. 9 on top, only and at the last moment I boxed the 1-3-10. I liked the no. 1 and the 3 and 10 were "LOOKERS".

Practice up on your spotting, it works at this track.. well, usually.

Hit the 8th as well. It was some kind of day today. Didn't cash in only ONE race. Quite a few of the wieners were "spotters"; that is - found them in the paddock.

Doubt I'll see another day like this for a long while, but they don't have to be this good to keep me going.

Hope to seeya soon, Hamster.

Great that you made bank in the 9th :0071

"Practice up on your spotting, it works at this track.. well, usually."

Continuing to evaluate them four legged equines. Eliminated the 2,4,9,11 because they appeared fractious with their lead horse during the post parade. Any signs that I might need to be concerned with when the are in the paddock?

There's a ton of things to see (need the complete picture). Weeding out the deadheads is useful and easy... pretty much when a horse looks "droppy" it's a deadhead.. head down, small, slow steps, dull coat. Steer clear of horses that have the indoor antenna look (ears); most people aren't aware of that one. Note how their tale hangs.. and I ain't kidding. LOL

You want the tail to come out/away from their rear end, that is - not just hanging straight down. Sometimes you'll see a tale that hangs inward a bit, like partially between the horse's hind legs. Stay away from them hosses.

Doesn't look like I'll be posting anything for today (SUNday), same Peepers in the Online box at the bottom :(

Just in case a PLAYER does come online and I ain't around to see him/her, which will prob. be the case cause I'll be LOOKING at them with hopes that I see the same things I saw yesterday - I DO see an outsider with a chance to get it's picture taken or at least hit the board in the 3rd race today...

Check out, no. 6 in the 3rd, Cassidy Kid. If nothing else .. nice name LOL
This one isn't rated in my top three ratings for this race, but it does look to me like it has a shot and 12-1 would be a nice price too. BTW, this race is an "UNplayable" race, but ignoring that rule turned out to be a GOOD move lately.
