MN sucks at the moment...we had more snow last night that may delay the move longer than i would like to. (well, the move of STUFF) we won't officially leave up here until June 9, but as soon as i can have the closing, and get my crap all down to iowa, we'll probably finish out our stay in a hotel.
i told my tenants as long as they pay ON TIME (and put them on a week by week payment status) ...i would give them until June 1 to get out.
the buyer wants to close whenever is convenient to us (and will let *us, and only us* stay in the house until 6/9 if we want to).
they want the downstairs empty @ closing to start fixing it up right away....so as soon as the tenants f up and pay late, i will call the buyer and say "I'm READY" and we can close within 3 days and THEY will put them out downstairs.... LOL ... don't wanna cause them too many problems down there tho, cuz he is the one i'm gonna hire to move my stuff via U-Haul... hey, $3000 beats $10,000 any day (although it means we are packing our own crap...LOL)
we have to go down there most every weekend between now and the actual move, as my son is gonna play little league down there. He will miss the first part of the season to finish school up here, but anything on weekends he can be a part of.
(next summer we are looking at a trip to FL..... kids old enough now that they are dying to see Disneyworld)
