I went to watch the game at my dads with bunch of family and friends. Most people out there know a lot about sports, and are knowledgeable about most sports. Well, everyone but my step-mom, which makes me really wonder how in the hell she woulda known this and noone else did.
This may have been discussed before, and if it has sorry. My stepmother asked me what the "G" on the packers helmet stood for. Of course, everyone in the building said greenbay. She then explained the "G" stood for greatness, and most people assume the same as we did that is stands for Green Bay, the home of the cheeseheads. She claims she saw a segment during superbowl week discussing it.
Is that really true? haha I mean I guess if it meant Green Bay it may read "G.B" on the helmets. Someone who knows something help me out, cause apparently I am clueless on the meanings of logos in the NFL.
TIA if anyone knows the truth too this.
