I met this guy once a long time ago, or at least someone with that name. What do you think?


I'm writing this with tears in my eyes,We came down here to Madrid Spain for a short vacation and we was mugged at gun point last night,at the park of the hotel where we lodged all cash,credit cards and cell were stolen off me, thank God we have our life and passport.

I've been to the embassy and the Police here but they're not helping issues at all,they asked us to wait for 3weeks but we can't wait till then. Our flight leaves in less than 5hrs from now and we are having problems settling the hotel bills.

The hotel manager won't let us leave until we settle the hotel bills.We are freaked out at the moment,I'm so embarrassed to have to ask you for money, but you're the only one I could think of that could come up with what we need,well all I need is just 1700euros and you can have it wired to me via Western Union Money Transfer from any nearby western union outlet.

That was a good one. I've received it a few times recently. Also when I used to have FB, if someone's account was hacked, they would send out a mass chat with a similar story.

Myself personally, I would send my friend the money, just waiting for my Nigerian Money Order to come in, as I won the lottery over there...to think, I've never been to Africa.

You strike me as someone oblivious to common sense and remind me of this character, although not nearly as affable

Why.....because I asked a question. I thought this forum was for discussions.......But it really isn't for discussions, it's more for ridicule and humiliation. Does it give you a sense of power to try and demean me like yyz does. How about acting like a good person and not coming on the board anonymously to pull a power trip, I don't get it, all I did was ask a question.

Ok I get it..........but I wasn't begging for money, I was looking for someone that wanted to bankroll the $2000 for the Hilton Contest with the idea that he would get his money back if we won. People do it all the time. I posted it on a few boards and 3 people came forward. It all worked out and we're doing pretty good. I own a business and I thought it was a great business oppourtunity for someone along with a good idea for me not to risk my money.
