Is this theory correct in marriages where the husband has a wealthy career......

I have noticed....................I have not had this problem since I never have really made much money but have been married. I have 2 friends now.......one who is a dr. and one who is a very good stockbroker..........they both have worked hard , made a lot of money, had 3 kids each...........and now they are getting a divorce to women who have stayed at home and never had to work..........

ITS ALMOST LIKE THE MONEY BECOMES AN INCENTIVE FOR THE WOMAN TO PURSUE A DIVORCE....................

THE WOMAN OBTAINS HALF OF EVERYTHING AND ALSO GET HIGHER CHILD SUPPORT PAYMENTS..............

Instead of trying to make the marriage work the women becomes weathly and free at the same time....................

Am I crazy looking at it like this?????

Why share anything when you can become free and wealthy without doing shit!!!!


Maybe struggling a little keeps marriages together.......because we all know its cheaper to live a married household rather with kids rather than a separate household with kids:mj07:

In a struggling financial marriage.........

"Well if you leave him you may have to start working more hours to make ends meet.........what do you want to do???


In a healthy financial marriage..........

"Well if you leave him you will have to get a separate bank account and split the $500,000.......and also find a way to handle the $8000 dollars a month child support check"...........OK BYE!!!!!

A couple of possible alternatives that could also be the reason in some cases:

1. These men put their careers in front of their family. Sometimes this happens accidentally where the provider thinks that he/she is doing the best for their family by providing more money. But, in the end, the career is placed first, so the bond with the family diminishes.
2. All men know that they are much more attractive when they have money and/or "power" to others. This can be due to supposed golddiggers, but it also could be systematically true because your demeanor has more confidence. Maybe they are attracting a little more attention and can't handle the temptations that come along with that.

The strength of the bond between a wealthy, career-oriented husband and stay at home wife can weaken over time as their mutual interests dissipate. This is particularly the case if the husband places career ahead of family, as quite often the couples' children are their main mutual interest.
