What happens if there is an investigation into Carroll and he gets the death penalty? Probably wont happen, BUT YOU DONT KNOW.

Are you telling me Miami doesnt go three deep with 4 and 5 stars? What about FSU? You dont think they are loaded on paper? COME ON.

Kyle Wright was a 5 star #1 QB and he blows...You can go as far as your QB in the BCS conferences. All I know is I saw Booty play ASU and I am away the furthest from impressed.

And if you dont think those alledged "3 deep 5 star" recruits want to play, you are retarded. Eventually, they arent going to want to go to SC and sit on the bench if that is the case.

this is exactly why everything is cyclical in college football. its why brock berlin left florida. its why snead is leaving texas. stockpiling talent is great but players want to play. in a utopia, theyre willing to sit the bench and win national championships. but thats not reality. everything usc is doing now, miami was doing in the early 2000s

You do not have proof to support that accusation. Carroll is just a relentless recruiter who plays true freshman. That is why recruits are not afraid to come to USC. They all think they are the best and will get to start.

USC has smoked Miami and the rest of CFB in recruiting the last 3 years. Look at how many 5-star recruits USC gets and rest of CFB. Not even close. By 2008/2009, it will be scary. $hit, right now it is scary.

That is why people thought 3 years ago. 2 years ago. Last year. Yet the recruits keep on coming. USC again this year will have the most talented class in the country. In state and out of state. I just proved this with my examples above. PC plays the best players period, freshman or senior. Doesn't matter. Oh yeah, USC competes for NC's every year, even in rebuilding years.

Guess what. If you never play at USC, you still can get drafted and play in the NFL. Backup QB Matt Cassell never started game at USC, threw 30 passes in his career, got drafted by Patriots and now is 2nd string QB. How about that as recruiting tool. USC practices prepared him for the NFL, not div. 1a games! :mj07:

That is COACHING!

They say a lot of coaches have got into trouble were "relentless" ...that Bush debacle wasnt exactly a ringing endorsement of Carroll, was it?

Cant argue with someone who can see into the future though. I guess I am done.

Sanchez probably doesnt even want to play like Cassel. Since all USC players are so good, they dont even want to play since just like Cassel they can get drafted. Perfect! Then they know they can't get hurt, either. What a school. What a coach. What a program.

You miss the point. At USC, the best players play. You might be great, but if there is a player better than you, YOU DON'T PLAY! That is why freshman want to come to USC. Freshman all americans have huge egos and think they are the best. So they easily will play at USC as freshman. Some do, some don't. Nobody wants to transfer out because USC keeps on winning and competing for NC's. Winning keeps everyone happy and PC is rah rah coach.

Sanchez has bought into the system. He waits his turn, just like Leinart, just like Booty, and he will shine. If he doesn't play (he got beat out by better player), he can still get into the NFL just like Matt Cassel. :) USC practices prepare you for the NFL. No doubt. NFL scouts say USC practices harder than some NFL teams.

Look at what Booty has accomplished in his 1st year starting. Amazing.
