Kansas City area for who knows how long....
from Sept 11 Seattle Times:

ARLINGTON, Texas ? Although Ismael Valdes suffered his usual blister trouble Sunday in Kansas City, he showed no aftereffects when he threw in a bullpen workout yesterday.

"He was fine," pitching coach Bryan Price said. "Actually, he can pitch much of the time with it. Occasionally, however, it alters his effectiveness. He can't snap pitches, and his stuff starts to come up."

Trainer Rick Griffin said the right-hander has a history of blisters at the usual spot, the thumb-side corner of the middle finger where the ball last leaves the hand during the pitching delivery.

"He doesn't like us to trim the nail, which is the usual remedy," Griffin said. "We've been controlling it with Super Glue and New Skin."

Griffin said blisters are normally more prevalent among pitchers in warmer weather.

"Izzy pitches Friday in Oakland, and then we go home," he said. "So there shouldn't be much trouble then."

from Post-Intelligencer:

NOTES: The blister problems that starter Ismael Valdes has endured the past few starts aren't going away. "It will be an ongoing problem," Piniella said. "He'll pitch with it, but I think it limits him some."

Really doesn't matter who is pitching for them if you ask me, from what I have seen they have quit and will be betting against them until they prove to me otherwise. Tragic to as they are one of my favorite teams but they just don't seem to be clicking and now have to face an A's team that is firing on all cylinders could get uglt of course that is just my opinion, good luck in anything you play!!
