Like I said AND I take no side. Its not to complicated. And the fighting continues. One side use terror with suicide bombers. The other responds with tanks and gun ships.

Dj it looks like we see the same thing in this crisis. I was wondering what do you think if the Palestine people had the weapons do you think they would use suicide bombers? Honestly i have to give it to them and the group over in Iraq. They are up against tremendous power and found a way to neutralize it. Sure we always get the best of them but i hate to see them get a stealth cause they wouldnt fight with it they might just blast it right into the green zone.

are you attacking the author (without any substantive accusations) or the contents of what is written ? And if it is what is written, please specify what statements in the article are untrue.

Apparently you don't read this forum often. I did not read the article. I saw it was by David Horowitz, and stopped there. This line of thinking is fully supported by forum members Dogs That Bark, Gardenweasel and No Cigar.

To be perfectly honest, I don't give two shits either way about Israel. I am not anti-semetic; I just don't care.

BTW, Israel is really sorry you Palestinians, whose land was stolen, using guerrilla terrorist tactics, **ahem**, have never been given your own country, but of course that would mean doing what's right and proper, and diminishing Israel's capability to sow world-wide discord, and universal economic jihad in relative peace without the world press breathing down our neck, so um, yeah it ain't gonna happen, Muhammed.

Read a history book - a real one. Not leaflets they pass out at Palestinian freedom rallys. Palestine was CREATED as a Jewish state by the British Mandate. There never was a Palestine without a jewish state. That was the purpose of Palestine from its inception. Since its inception, the British kept cedeing over large chunks of it - like Tranjordan - to the Arabs every time they would riot and massacre the Jews living in Palestine reducing the size of the Jewish state within a state. After Palestine was no more, the UN gave most of it to Arab countries and left a sliver of what was left to the Jews - who were already living there - wow I'm sure they were greatful for getting 6% of the land that was originally set aside for them and which they were already living on. About that time they decided that trying to be good neighbors with Arabs was a great way to be massacred. So, they defended themselves. Then the Arabs came up with a great idea to say that the tiny sliver of land that was left to the jews from their original Palestine - not the 94% that the Arab's took - still had Arabs on it and therefore they were justified in continuously attacking Isreal. How dare Isreal defend itself.

The solution to the Isreal-Arab problem is simple. Help the Arabs massacre all Jews in Isreal. That is the only solution that will appease the Arabs - easy enought right? Just make sure it is EVERY one - man, woman and child. Cause, killing 99% and maybe leaving the elderly just wont sit right with the Arabs. They will need to be butchered as well.

Flapjack you may need to go back even father in history. This problem of co assistance has not been one of great success for what now couple 100 years. And one side did get more help then the other after 46. But putting that aside your info is very good. We should remember many Jews left the area. They were all over Europe and even some here. Then A few countries did decide it was ok now send or let them all return. Then the confusion and trouble started to double. Egypt finally got wise. I'm not sure if Syria ever will.

I realize that this topic can provoke heated responses and opinions on both sides. I also realize that no one here is likely to change anyone else's opinions on the subject. So, I'll bow out of this thread now and turn my attentions to the REAL reason we are all here...TO MAKE $$$ !!

Good luck to all.

....and don't you forget it.
Never does Israel use excessive, illegal force, or commit war crimes, or violate the Geneva Conventions. Israel completely adheres to all international rules of warfare, does not commit any acts of terrorism against anyone, esp. not the poor Arabs who were living in Israel when Israel flanagled itself into existence.

Anyways, now we've gotten that out of the way, Israel is shocked, shocked to find that Jimmy Carter is asking Israel to comport itself in accord with established international law regarding warfare, specifically that of intentionally targeting known civilians and non-combatant populations. Israel, of course, should be allowed to do as it wishes with the poor sobs who think of Judaism a disgrace, a sham, and a mockery to God, and are of that mindset due to the history Jews have with completely abrogating their mandate to treat the indigenous populations with respect and care.

So, every Jew everywhere should condemn former President Carter (who, btw has spent more time trying to negotiate an end to the Mid-East violence than any other person on the planet) from using his God-given and constitutionally protected ability to speak out against what he believes to be an injustice.

Under no circumstances should anyone be allowed to ever, ever say anything bad about Israel, and if you do, you can forget about having Jews sitting on your board trying to steer your charity away from its' goals, but rather working to further the aims of the state of Israel!!! So there!

A forum like this (with inciteful, passionate, intelligent commentary) reinforces the fact that this will probably never get settled. I'm also struck by the fact that writers like Hororitz with his polemic diatribes are simply in the business of stoking the fires (calling Carter a "Jew Hater"). Carter was president for 4 years and no one can say that he compromised the security of Israel during his presidency. The Peace accord between Begin and Sadat is the best thing to ever happen the middle east. Egypt and Israel have not fired a shot at each other since then. The Palestinian question will remain and be a thorn in our and worlds sides until we are all long gone.

carter`s also the one that basically precipitated the end of the shah of iran....and led to the rule of khomeini and what we now are dealing with now in the mullahs and ahmadinnerjacket.....

he`s considered pretty much across the board as being an utter fool and anti-semite...

one that the cozies up to practically every america-hating despot....

he`s a useful idiot that kisses the ass of america and democracy haters...

btw...the peace loving palestinians have a nice little scenario going on with hamas and fattah....

i guess hating and killing joos just isn`t sufficient for these sociopath`s....

a little light-hearted after-mosque hamas fun..filmed on january 12th.....jumping through burning hoops....burning faux israeli planes....

is it just me, or does anybody else look at these pictures day after day and see an entire culture of people who never progressed beyind the mental and emotional level of second graders?.....

seriously...is there any doubt why,on the same plot of desert, israel is so advanced while the palestinians are still depending on rest of the world to eat?......while israelis work, these beauties have fun....

don`t they have anything else to do?....like work, for instace?....and why all their demonstrations involve fire, military, burnings, deaths and so on?...

is this a "cultural" thing?... and why do they stage great military defeats of israel, when everybody with a brain knows that israel can wipe them off the face of the earth?....

and if the roles were reversed, israel would be a moldering cinder?

get real.......

Garden,

How does Carter get credit for the Shah being overthrown? We don't control the planet by a secret crystal ball in the white house. He was another Megalomaniac scumbag (our scumbag) and his people sacked him. Carter and the military botched the rescue mission but it's hard to put blame on him for Shahs' downall. As for the Palestinians, no disagreement with your description but do you know of any people living in the miserable sqaulor they do who would sit pat against their mortal enemies.

Garden those pictures you show of whom ever with there faces covered with scarf's and what ever. And there playing with fire. You don't think they learned any of that from anyone here. Wearing those sheets and burning homes and crosses. Was that happening here only 60/70 years ago. You don't think there relatives?

Sexlexia...
...Because yes, weaze, no-one in the west would ever carry on, and burn stuff (crosses?), wear long white robes and hide their faces...

...and yes, no-one in the Arab world works. They all carry on like this every day...
...in fact, when they aren't burning stuff at a rally, they are generally all throwing petrol bombs.

Funny how the rare few that do actually have a job don't seem to mind going through a series of check-points which can literally take hours simply to get there and back. :rolleys:

EDIT: Posted same time! Same thoughts...

...serious gw, you NEED to get out of your own little world and at least try to watch a different news channel once in a while...
