Thinking a QB change is being made for ISU, as the reason for this.

Anyone else have info?

Casey Pachall, TCU QB, apparantly was arrested for DWI last night. Damn, this is one of my big plays this weekend. I wish I had gotten it in yesterday.

Just found out. This has been the most bizarre year for TCU football. I have no words to describe it. I was hoping for a 9-3 year. Now I'm hoping for at least 6 wins for a bowl game. Unreal how stupid that kid has been.

Sure makes me feel better about my ISU and ISU under play.

Here's to the TCU QB! :toast:

IMO this is the Karma Patterson gets for not supsending him when he failed a drug test.

Please. Name one Div I school that suspends a player for first positive test. Name one Div I school that even reports a first failed test. The only reason it was reported was because the police released the info.

Casey is suspended indefinitely. Boykin is the backup. He's a dual threat QB. But more of a runner than a passer. Teams will probably load the box and force TCU to pass more with a less experienced QB.

Tech has under Tubs. It's not reported but that's why Ronnie Daniels was supsended last year. It was his first time to fail. He was then reinstated, failed again and then kicked off the team.

Joe, it's not that it was his first time. It's the fact that they had a major problem with drugs. Maybe I'm wrong in doing it but I do hold a Christian Univ to a higher standard. That may not be fair but it's the way I feel.(just for the record that's only my opinion not saying it's the way it should be)

I posted isu as my big play on Monday this week...

This actually scares me...

Tha wager was made with the expectation that tcu would have their 1s string qb....

I hope this doesn't change anything...

Would hate to see a nice streak end cause of something strange like this...

I see where you're coming from. And I think Patterson probably would have if it hadn't come out the way it did.He wasn't going to appear to give into outside demands though. Casey obviously has a problem. I've been sober for 17 years, so I know how hard it van be tostop.

Patterson is going to make Casey dress, but just sit on the sidelines "so he can't hide". A friend of mine thanks that looks shady though. Temptation would be there to stick him in a tight game down the road.

AI see it beig close--ISU is alot like Neb--they get alot of breaks and being on the road and the opp qb is suspended is a big break

Patterson has changed his mind and Casey won't be on the sidelines after all. Glad he wised up about that. No new chrome helmets though.

Just talked to a knowledgeable TCU alum and he says the backup runs the wildfrog formation, so he's not going to be suffering from stage fright. He's more mobile than the starter. We will see. GL everyone.
