The 7 footers are not the problem. The guards are horrible!! They can't hit the open jumper. If CSU could hit a shot it would open things up for the big guys in the middle.
Terrible offensive set against the zone...lazy passes and never rotated to other side with speed and efficiency (try a skip pass for crying out loud!) Hate to watch the demise...know Dale Layer personally (CSU head coach) and he is a good guy and deserves better...actually read post at another site that claimed he had inside tip that CSU had quit on their coach...not sure if it is to that level, but they have looked in serious dissaray for some time...all that being said, it should be noted that they had a starter transfer, and their two leading scorers are out due to injury...tough for any team to overcome the loss of 3 starters...
That game was brutal...glad I didnt bet it.
I watched some of it and those teams are absolutely pathetic......Barely any athletisism at all.......Waste the entire shot clock,finally take a shot and miss it.
