After having a disappointing start to the forum, I would expect things to change today.
Mich St. -6.5
Temple is talented "D" and all, but Mich St. just too deep. Temple only rotates 7, and against a team that extends it's perimeter defense and plays for the full 4o crashing the boards like they do, I don't believe Temple can hang with the pace.
I also believe Mich St. has the better shooters.
This one will be close to the end, but expect Mich St. to pull it out in the end with a 8-10pt cover. They'll cover by more if they make there Free throws.
AZ/ILL
I was on AZ when they were -1.5, and now bet down to a PK, I see a real bargain. AZ has the thoroughbreds to run with ILL, they also have the height advantage. This is turning out to be a magical season for AZ, and I believe it will go on. I do believe highly in motivation, and heart determining ball games, not the best strategy when handicapping games, but being a former athlete, and a coach I see it come into fruition more times than not. The extra motivational edge goes to Lute and the Wildcats. (They are playing as much for themselves as well as for Lute, and RIP: Bobby!)
