Foxes have the best 2 gd tandem in the MAAC...Hart and Parker are really solid..Hart can penetrate and shoot the 3...Parker looks like any over weight chubby gd that has a handle on the ball and can penetrate...but they are going up against Allen and co...if they penetrate where are they going....Duke is loaded up front...Foxes have no front line..no threat inside..no scoring and poor rebounding...Duke has injuries but their replacements are all 4-5 star athletes...lyr Duke beat Siena a MAAC team 97-74..and the Saints were much better then Marist..they beat Fairfield 109-59,GaSouthern 99-65,Elon 105-44,Furman,Woffard Presb,all by 30-40 pt blowouts...in non league pre-season Coach K has little mercy...Foxes are in trouble..lose by 30-40..

think this line opened up at Temple -6 but that dropped quickly...last yr Owls blew the Expos 62-49...LaSalle has some of its best players back from injuries lyr... Cuse transfer Johnson will be a big impact player...the big Henry transfer can rebound..Pookie from Memphis is the pt gd...the Doctor has put a solid team together of transfers that are talented....with Price back I think Temple is in trouble..they have lost 3 of top 4 scorers..they have super pt gd but think Lasalle will make some noise in Philly..

Beardon transferred from the Bulls..that really sucks..he was amazing..last yr they threw Moss off and this team still went dancing...they have some scorers,wings are athletic,,have some inside size and a solid ptgd... Purple have the NYC kid Wtight who is tough...some juco transfers..but think they are over matched on the perimeter and in the paint...think Bulls win this by double digits...not sure of line..will be back..

Bulls lost Beardon who transferred{ I don't even know where he went} He was outstanding...he brought them dancing the past 2 yrs...but Oats has most of his lineup back...and they are good...Messinberg,Conner and Hamilton can all score...Hamilton did break his hand a month ago but is back tonite...you have Perkins who at 6'8 and 6'10 Johnson back from 2 yrs ago...Smart is 6'11 and will start...also the 6'8 frosh McKenzie could be the best player out there...we will see tonite...Bulls can score and have a big advantage over the Purple's front line...Purple have Scott their only one true scorer...I know they got some juco and transfers players and some young kids but don't see enough improvement..they are pre-season predicted to be last in the MAAC...they have no front line players or depth.....they cannot hit a 3 even uncontested...they shot 28% last yr ranked 347th...they have no true pt gd unless someone tonite steps up..I know the game is at Gallagher but think the Bulls have way to much talent and Purple cannot stay with them for 40 minutes...I know the Purple have transfers,juco players,etc and its the 1st game...but you have one of the top teams in the MAC vs one of the worst teams in the other MAAC...Bulls are only down the street from Purple...no travel problems...double digit win...strong play....

Bearden went to W Ky because Oats waned him gone. Sure, he is a nice player but also one of those guys who are bad for your team. He needed his weed more than the Bulls need him.

FWIW: Buffalo got carried to OT by some no name team on the Bulls home floor in their exhibition game. Still, they should take care of Niagara. I'll root for you :0008

Tx St has one real scorer...so many new players but an excellent coach...his kids play great defense...FAU has been terrible..has a few more scorers back...but still can't shoot from the outside and has no idea what the word defense means...just the little more experience gives them the edge...

ORU +17 over Baylor *
Bears went to Prince and Gathers 75% of the time..w/o those 2 think it will take some time to adjust.ORU can keep this close...they have some talent...

URI -18.5 over Dartmouth **
Mathews is back...this team is loaded...outside-inside,under the bleachers,you name it.. Hurley is a great coach just like his pop...best backcourt in the A-10,etc,etc,,,Dartmouth has Boudreau who is nice..but he would be coming of the bench if he played for Hurley...URI capable of winning this by 30 in 2nd gear...

Coach K and co will have no problem...listened to Foxes best player last night..." we are just happy to be playing Duke"...would not say that on TV...you can believe that but that says your just showing up...line has moved up to -31.5 by game time it will be -33...but makes no difference,,they win by +40

Oregon -31 over Army *
Only reason I'm laying that much....Army lost their coach and all 5 starters....they are terrible...will be last in the Pat Conf....nobody can shoot and nobody can rebound...they do play defense though..Ducks loaded everywhere...they can name the score..its Veterans Day...maybe the Ducks will have some mercy...

Laf graduated superstar Long..he was there go to guy for 3 years..almost every offensive play went to Long...think they have to readjust their offense...Minny has had the entire team arrested,suspended,excommunicated,branded,and thrown off...they can't play defense,can't shoot and can never hit a 3...FG%,3pt%defense ranked in the 300's...Pitino needs some non league wins before the Big 10 season...

Loved East Tenn over Fordham but the line moved up..will pass..
