Wilson, how much will it add to the rivalry if Rich goes Pitt? I can't imagine the level of hate that WV fans would have.
Michigan needs to take their time and make an intelligent decision.

Also, after listening to Herbstreit on ESPN radio I have to think that Harboughs going to look at the job. He said that Harbough out of respect said he wasn't interested in the Mich job because Rich was still there but that he bleeds Mich football and it's killed him to see Mich football be so down.
Not sure why PITT would want RichRod. Fans maybe, but administrations hate "carpetbaggers" and losers. RR is now both along with being an arrogant SOB. I mean he can't very well say at press conference, "This is where I always wanted to be. It's good to be back in the BIG EAST." LOL And think about the speculation he threw the 2007 game. :facepalm:

As we wrote Tuesday, Rich Rodriguez is out as Michigan's head coach, and from the looks of things, Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh will not be coming to Ann Arbor to replace him.
So who's next on Michigan AD Dave Brandon's list? It looks as though San Diego State's Brady Hoke and LSU's Les Miles are the primary candidates, something also mentioned on SportsCenter by the reporter who broke the news of Rodriguez's firing, Ryan Ermanni of Fox 2 News in Detroit.
Ermanni says that Hoke is the likely choice, however, as Miles' buyout from the Tigers is likely too substantial. Additionally, LSU is one of the best jobs in all of college football, which means it could be tough for Miles to walk away from, even though he's a former Michigan player and assistant coach, and has not been shy about his love for the school.
Hoke will almost certainly take the job if offered, as his own school's president said as much last month. A former Michigan assistant coach, Hoke may not be the big-time hire some fans are looking for, a la Harbaugh, but Rob Otto of MLive.com writes that Hoke would still be an excellent choice.

Alabama linebackers coach Sal Sunseri has interviewed with Pittsburgh for the head coaching job. Reportedly, Penn State defensive coordinator Tom Bradley has also had talks with the Panthers.
Former Tennessee head coach Phillip Fulmer and Delaware head coach K.C. Keeler are new names who have surfaced as candidates for the Connecticut football job.
Reportedly, Mississippi State defensive coordinator Manny Diaz will take the same position at Texas.
