6-0 last weekend with my Ivy picks, so I might be due for a bad weekend in the Ancient Eight.

Three of the four spots to the Ivy League Tournament have already been clinched. There are FOUR teams vying for that last spot. Only one team, Dartmouth, has been eliminated. CRAZINESS this season. I love it!

Penn at Yale....the premier game on Friday, even though both teams have already clinched. Penn can basically clinch the top-seed with a win in New Haven. Regardless, Penn will once again host the playoffs at The Palestra. I think there's a significant drop-off after the top three teams- Penn, Harvard, and Yale, so Penn playing the #4 seed would be an even bigger advantage for the Quakers. A loss to Yale could mean that Penn could meet Yale in the semifinals, and Yale has been playing excellent basketball as of late- particularly on the offensive end. Yale is pretty much locked into the #3 seed and will open against either Harvard or Penn.
I have this game capped as an absolute toss-up, but I will be playing the OVER because I think Yale will once again try to play fast and loose.

3 units
Penn-Yale OVER 141.5 (-110 Bookmaker)

Falling asleep, so I'll continue with the plays late tomorrow afternoon.

Friday
Besides the Penn-Yale OVER (where the total has jumped to 143 since I put it in at 141.5) here are my other Friday plays. Please note that I played these last night, but didn't have time for write-ups/posts because I was falling asleep:

1 unit
Cornell +10.5 (-105 5dimes)...Line has since dropped to 9. Harvard is other team who has already clinched a spot in Ivy Madness. Cornell is still alive and I think they stay within shouting distance tonight.

1 unit
Columbia -1 (-110) 5dimes...Line is now 3. As a I said last night, Dartmouth the only team eliminated. Columbia playing decent basketball lately.

1 unit
Princeton -135 (5dimes)....Line is now 2.5. Both teams ice cold, but Brown has not won a game since February 10. Princeton had lost seven straight, but looked great in its last game vs. Dartmouth (particularly on the defensive end, where the Tigers had really be struggling.)

The only play I feel semi-strongly about is the Penn-Yale OVER. Tomorrow should bring much more clarity to the quest for that final conference tournament berth

Going to study the other conferences now, and might add some plays below later.

Is Davidson strictly the unranked home team against a ranked team? Thanks

Jordan, yes. Unranked favorite over a ranked dog.
I always play that angle for 5 units, even if I don't like the play. It has been very good to me the past few decades.
I only add to that 5 units if i love the play, like Florida over Auburn last weekend. I had 12 units on that because I loved Florida.

Thanks, Musca. That ending was INSANE. Yale down 3 with :03 left, hit both free throws and then steal inbounds and hit game-winner at the buzzer! I started to drive to the game, but traffic (as usual on a Friday rush-hour in these parts) was crazier than usual heading north to New Haven, so I turned right around. (Plus it was raining heavily and the wind was blowing like crazy)
Going to clear up tomorrow, and it's a Saturday, so I'm definitely going to see Princeton-Yale.

I was one basket away (Columbia) from a potential 4-0 Ivy night, but I'll take 3-1, especially since the 3-unit play hit.

Wow, I feel REALLY bad for anybody who took Cornell at +9 late in the day. Like I said earlier, I got it in yesterday at +10.5.
Talk about a bad beat for those on Cornell +9....goes to overtime. Then to double overtime. Harvard outscores them 11-1 in the the 2OT. That's why I'm HUGE on line-shopping and having money spread out at multiple off-shores.

Right now, I really need to study these playoff-clinching scenarios for tomorrow night, along with the tiebreakers.

Johnny, I thought he was going to miss the free throw on purpose, so URI wouldn't get the benefit of an inbounds pass with the clock stopped. That's what I would have done. Glad he didn't!
With the system, I always take the moneyline and pay the small juice, unless I can find a -1, which I did. Thanks Bovada! (I keep waiting for them to kick me out or limit me, because I am mostly a "contrarian" bettor. They jack up the favorites there, except for when a ranked team is an underdog, like tonight!) I've heard they don't like my type. I've been with them for two years, and haven't had an issue yet.

Plus, I get "around" their limits, by having friends and relatives sign up for accounts for me with their names. SShh! :0074

No problem.
Florida is a system play tomorrow, but a lot of early action is on Kentucky. Gators opened at -5 but now -3.5/-4.
I'll be playing Florida on the moneyline for 5 units when it comes out. Not adding to it because UK has been playing well the last two weeks and it's a revenge game.
Looks like both Syracuse and San Diego State will be system plays, too....although Nevada is a much better team than SDSU. That one scares me, but I've got to remain faithful to the system.
