As most of you have read before, I have a good friend who was on the Nationwide Tour last year when he was diagnosed with Leukemia. Jace, 27, died last night after slipping into a coma yesterday morning. He and his wife had chosen not to go on life support earlier in the year. It saddens me to see such a young, talented, and vibrant person be taken. It helps for me to think that he will not be suffering any longer.

Your prayers for his young wife and family are appreciated.

I remember the story about your friend well, yet again another tragic ending to IMO one of the good ones. I appreciate you sharing and his family, wife, and friends such as yourself will be in my families prayer!

Damn Dawg, I'm truly sorry to hear this. I lost my father to cancer when I was 15. In a sad, twisted sort of way, it has actually made me a much better person. I've learned a very simple lesson in life and that is...

ALL that matters to me are my family and my friends...that is ALL.

Sure I get caught up sometimes in petty day to day stuff, but the bottom line is that 99.9% of things that happen to me I don't sweat. By going through a loss of that magnitude you learn what true pain is, and what utter BS all other things are. As long as I have the support of my family and friends everything else is gravy. My prayers go out to his wife & family. :(

I appreciate all of the comments.

Nick--what show was that on? I also heard that they had a clip about him on ESPN on Sunday, but I didn't see it.
