Thanks, but just a good streak on my home course, an easy course at that. Down there I won't break 90 and looking for a stroke a hole from Andy, match play  or anybody else for that matter. Tide is really hitting it good too, regularly hitting the 70's lately and his course is a lot tougher than mine.

And you didn't have to worry about playing a slow pitch softball game afterwards like gmroz the jock

Man, you are playing a different course everytime, damn near.

My course is short too, I'm playing from the whites because the guys I play with won't play from the blue.

I guess a course with a rating of 70 is tougher than a course with a rating of 69

How do they determine this, by yardage?

Wow. I suck at golf in comparison. Gary, what was the name of the course we played in Ohio?

I've hit several states this year!

Florida, Georgia, Texas, Ohio, Indiana.

My game has stunk up all areas of the US.

We played Blackhawk. I think the city listed is Galena.

From what I understand, rating is based on the average score of a scratch golfer on that course. The higher the rating, the tougher the course.

Slope is based on how tough a course would be for a bogey golfer, but I don't understand the formula. 113 is average, higher numbers means tougher course.

You also need to check out the slope rating.
My course is 69.4/131

I've only played 14 rounds this year and they have my handicap at 9.4

I've played every day but one since June 30. My handicap index has gone from 9.4 trending to a 7.8

Shot 83 today at Players Club, 79 & 83 yesterday. 81 & 76 last weekend. Fighting my old swing right now. Sometimes I'm in a zone and other times I look completely lost.
