I got the kindle for my 79 year old mother. SHE LOVES IT! She's on her 4th book since Christmas. She was happy with the prices of the books, the ease of getting books and has found free books that she likes too. It's the best thing I could have gotten her.

And, she only came to me twice with a question on operation of it the first day she had it. Since then she's been on her own and she usually has trouble with computer stuff, DVD players, cell phones, etc.

On a follow up to this Jack can tell me if this will allow you to zoom the text or making it what would typically be large print?

I was thinking about getting this for my grandmother who hasn't been able to read regular print books for a while and dearly misses reading but is a bit self conscience about buying large prints books.

yup, she will be able to make the print as large as she needs.
