He needs to embrace the fact that the vast majority of the public find him an annoying prick and start playing that role. I never find him to be a believable hero. The roles where he embraces his prickhood are his best like Rain Man, The Color of Money or his hilarious turn as the agent in Tropic Thunder.

I liked the last Mission Impossible. Collateral and War of the worlds was good.

Eventhough some of his personal beliefs are a little wacky, I think the guy is a solid actor & the movie got good reviews....

thought the movie was good...knew about the height of character vs cruise the midget and laughed out lout when he entered the bar (near beg of movie)

I am a huge Lee Child fan and love the Jack Reacher series. I am not going to see this movie because of the casting of the small Cruise. Sorry.
