had fun with all these threads with the celebrating
i dream that one day, god willing, the people of western pennsylvania will be able to start threads in celebration of victories, and number the wins until a playoff destination is locked up.

hhaha I have never gotten how baseball hasnt had a salary cap brought in yet
look at the yankees..
they do nothing as far as building it or growing their talent from the inside
they simply have the most money
doesnt make them any better then anyone....just richer...

it just shows me that all of the yankees front office and coaches are overrated....
you get to spend billions, compared to most teams pennies, and still dont win it everyyear...
now, I have no problems with the yanks....hell ya, you are following all the rules and winning while doing it, but man it just seems lame that baseball lets the people with the most money continue to have the only dynasties...

thanks addict, I had a blast with it. The O's were 24 under last year, 24 over this year with 80 million in player salary. Yanks 2 1/2 times that. Tough to compete but we did. Hard to believe but Red Sox and Athletics combined team salaries were below Yankees...
Congrats to Yankee fans they deserve it. CC was tough in the clutch, I give him a ton of credit. I could talk about high paid Yanks not hitting in the series but I won't. Nobody hit in this series and I credit it to both teams solid pitching... good luck... :toast:
