Good morning Wayne. As everyone knows, the majority opinion of "we the people" is not always important in this country. But really, I was just trying to help hedgehog out, since he claims to boycott all corporations that support things he does not.

I have many Gay men and women in my own neighborhood they are all nice people who never cause any trouble.
Rather have them as neighbors instaed of druggies and dealers who have destroyed mt property and skated off without paying for damages leaving another parent to foot the whole bill for what thier KID did while the druggie parent kid was the one who started the whole incident!

Polls are only as trustworthy as those that run them and even then are not indicative of the nation's feelings on the matter.

GW, no offense intended and I am not directing this post at you or anyone in particular, thought that if gay marriage were to be made legal, churches could be forced to perform gay marriage ceremonies.
Does anyone really think that media outlets such as Fox is really going to report facts concerning the issue for the first time in their history on any subject? The fact is that those that don't know any better actually believe and adhere to archaic ideology. People on this site still don't even understand the dichotomy of church and state. The majority of people don't even realize that this is a civil rights issue. Look how many posters here are willing to accept that their neighbor may not have the same human freedoms that they have enjoyed since birth. I want one person to tell me exactly how two gay people that have been together for years that enter into a civil union will directly affect their life today as they know it.
If anyone is going to reply, please refrain from saying anything incredibly idiotic like, "my kids will be taught homo stuff in school". "They will be forced to think that stuff is okay and acceptable".
Well, I am sorry that they won't be able to enjoy the thrill of throwing rocks at the faggy kid in ninth grade, but we have laws against that now so they should have already been taught tolerance and acceptance. Maybe people should spend more time enjoying the diversity of the nature surrounding them, the rainbow of color, the smell of spring and all that. You know, all those gifts that God supplied for their enjoyment and spend less time trying to segregate, discriminate and hate on all the "different" people that are simply trying to enjoy their lives and gifts.

That makes you discriminatory and a bigot, period. More importantly, try not to let any children hear or see you act like that. I would hate for them to be sitting with their kids someday watching the History Channel and have to explain that you were indeed one of those people that they are talking about on TV. How sad would it be for your offspring to have to make excuses for your poorly thought out actions.

I don't find it illogical that people disagree on a topic. I find the logic 'the majority voted this way or wants it this way' on a matter completely flawed.
Shall we look up how America and the majority voted on key issues throughout time?
