Dude, why so many questions? Can't you just accept the fact that it looks cool as shit and that FDC personally worked his butt off to make it that way?

What kind of sealant and polymer do you use to build your bridges? Can you see it when finished? How high off the ground is your bridge when you finish? 6 inches? 9 inches? Look forward to your answers.

The longhorn emblem has 1/4" of polymered concrete below it and is inlaid the same. I then stain by hand. The polymers are added to the micro topping concrete mix itself and are not visible. Polymer provides for better adhesion to the calcium carbonate (lime) of the slab. When the concrete dries the excess powder polymer rises to the top of the overlay and is washed away. So the entire floor was covered with three coats of self leveling overlay material. The location of emblem is chosen by customer. Funny thing is that his foyer is somewhat shaped like Oklahoma so the emblem is right about at Norman.

There are several sealant types. That particular one is an acrylic solvent based sealer with a 50% solid base. Two part epoxy is very popular but i always topcoat that with poly urethane.
I generally only deal with overlays, verticals n and a counter top now and again so you'll have to excuse my ignorance on the bridges question. I've only formed and poured small repair areas and such. I do m mostly decorative stuff.

First two are epoxy sealant with a design I cut in as well as texture applied by hand. Third is the back patio that has an acrylic sealant. The brick pattern and puppy paw prints were cut in and stained by hand by me

The married life has been pretty good so far...ups and downs as with anything, but for the most part things are really great. Buying and remodeling a new house has been stressful, but that's to be expected. I may have to try to sucker you into doing my garage floor because I doubt that I'll find anyone around here that can do anything this nice.
Once I get my bar finished in there, I'll just be needing to mount the TVs and speakers, then will turn my attention to the floor (which has stains all over it). Anyway, if you want to shoot me a text first, that would be good because I lost all my numbers when my phone disappeared in a canal in Amsterdam while tripping on truffles
