Maybe it's the Palin effect. Far right republican women seem to get a free pass on stupidity. Palin herself is absolutely adored by the right wingnuts, in spite of the fact that she has demonstrated over and over that she's dumber than a doorknob and is an opportunist who will crap on them for a dollar.

And look at Sharon Angle in AZ who thinks fluoridation is a government mind control plot, and wants to abolish Medicare and Social Security. She's only a few points behind Harry Reid on the polls.

And them there's Nikki Haley in SC, who has a lifetime record of non-achievement and is their likely next governor. She's been accused of adultery with two guys, one of whom has the phone records of long 3 AM calls to prove it. The wingnuts just dismiss all that and keep on licking her feet.

It appears that right-wing women need only thump their Bible and call Obama a Nazi and the wingnuts swoon.
