Sc,

Just curious...do you use a key number concept as part of your handicapping?

not in this case...these games are part of a system I have been playing for years...I'm sure a few guys on here will know what is, the system itself is some what well known in the right circles...I posted this system last year here at MJ's...I am adding the 1hf's this year as the have shown a solid profit the past 2 years actually hitting at a higher rate than the full game plays...In the month of January I play 3 types of games, this being just one of them...This system will always be some type of home dog, my system 2 will always be a type of home fav (home unranked fav vs. ranked opp) perhaps the oldest trick in the book for the past few decades and my system 3 is a bit more complicated but wont start for another week or so but will always be larger road dogs...when it comes to ncaa hoops I break down systems for each month...no doubt one of the best months of the year for me every year is the month of January

aside from my rambling to answer your question...YES I do use key numbers in a few different systems but not these particular games tonight...these two games have more to do with it being a conference game, home dog, ranked opponent, and public money

Thanks for your reply. I've always been curious about key numbers because the entire concept can mean different things to different people. It's a nice sounding term but it gets kinda' cloudy after that. What I consider to be a key number (and why) may be different for someone else and therein lies the rub. Very few (if any) forum discussions on the subject and internet queries produce nothing substantial. Anyway, hoping the best for you in January and the rest of the cbb season.

No problema buddy...If I narrowed it down 6.5 represents the biggest key number for me on account it represents 3 possessions
